Are you a fan of Anthony Bourdain?

It is always a pleasure to watch Mr. Anthony Bourdain in No Resevations. He is worth being watched and listened to. He just epitomizes the persona of an honest traveller and food commentator. I just love to hear his comments whether good or wickedly honest. He never tries to impress the viewers with superficiality. "What you see is what you get", that's his character. He isn't trying to be cool or whacky or suave or whatever. He is basically himself. The way he writes and shares his views show sensibility and great sensitivity. I think he shows that he pays enough respect to every country he goes to, to every culture he visits. Recently, he visited the Philippines as requested by a Filipino fan. His story was great. He basically tackled the issue that Filipinos ask themselves as well (including me, of course). The question is primarily about who Filipinos are, which means the identity of Filipinos. And he was trying to look for the answer through visiting some parts of the country and checking out the cuisines. Well, I wish he did get the answer. Anyway, has he been able to visit your country as well? Or do you want him to visit your country too? Are you a fan or a hater? Well, please feel free to share your comments about him.
