Envying my friends...

People don't read minds, if you want something ask for it. If for some reason you can not join in, find something else that you have in common with these people and put your time and energy into that. You are the only one who can control your life this means putting priorities into your life plans. We all have to do that no matter how much money we have. Blessings

Well, I believe that my life as such is fine ;although I too would like to have more money at my disposal as well as more time for greater holidays . You must not ;however feel saddened by the fact that your friends had great holiday . With hard work and more money in future ;you too would have more chances to have greater holiday and enjoy them also . Regards

I don't really envy too many of my friends other than my friends who are exchange students. They get this awesome chance to go to another country to live for a year or so to learn the culture and stuff. I think that is really cool.

Like you I envying my friends too, but not in a bad way. I envy their life because all what they are earning are for them only, they don't have a family to provide for so in that case they can buy whatever they want. I keep asking myself, how could I escape this kind of life as I think is really difficult. I look at myself as a poorest of the poor. Quite negative don't you think?

As much as it would be nice to travel and experience lots of things in other places, I am quite alright with how I am at the moment. I really don't mind not being able to go to other places as I would often think that I would eventually get there without even trying. Sometimes, I just get there due to relatives, an invite from co-workers or simply from a whimsical suggestion from friends. Even though such places might not be good or really amazing, I am happy for the opportunity. Not that its meaningless, everyone's life is interesting, the one's who don't realize that are mostly the one's who are living such lives. Others would find interest in them as those who have been used to doing the same thing all over again find it boring. We just have to make things interesting in the first place (^_^ )

hahaha my life is not that boring at all compared to the previous months... at this time I have friends who invited me to go with them not on a vacation or a trip far away but just to go around the city where I am residing. In this place where I am people must have cars and can drive so that they can go wherever they wanted to. I have no driver's license yet so, obviously I can;t drive and I can just go anywhere when hubby will take me to. But he is busy with work, but am glad that I have friends who will pick me up sometimes and we will go around the shopping malls or thrift stores and I am glad for that.

I love to travel specially with friends. We plans to travel if we have enough money. But if two of our friends is not available we just set other date for that. i dont envy them even though they have their own job and I dont. I know that someday I can have a job that pays me enough for my luxury and necessities in life.

hi there, sdas86.. probably the reason why your friends haven't asked you to join is that you weren't available when they were planning the trip. sometimes, we just have to spend some quality time with our friends so they can see us for who we really are. we have to keep in regular communication with them somehow. "envy rots the bones.." meaning, it will do you no good to harbor envy in your heart towards your friends. being richer or having more money is also no guarantee in enjoying life and being able to relax. the key to 'enjoying' life for what it's worth is being thankful for what you have, who you are, where you are, who you are with, RIGHT NOW because nobody(except God) knows for certain what will happen tomorrow or even later. all we really have is HERE and NOW. happy myLotting!

i envy my office mates because they've been to a lot of hot spots. At work, we don't own our time but they manage to go out and have fun. I wanted to do that as well but i want to own my time. i don' wanna put a limit to wherever i wanna go.

Hi there! There are times that me and my friends enjoy the same things and sometimes we prefer doing things alone. Though we're friends we still have differences. I'm not the type who enjoys traveling so I don't envy them whenever they have time to travel. I cannot also say that they are enjoying their lives and I'm not. I have my own ways of enjoying my life. At the current situation, my life is not so enjoyable nor boring. It's not interesting nor meaningless. These past 5 months my current life is not what I wished for or planned it. Unforeseen events have happened leading me to my current situation and I'm still trying to figure out whether this will be my life or I still want something different. Nevertheless, I still love my life. I think it's challenging to figure what I will become tomorrow. By the way, why do you think your friends don't ask you to join them in their travels? Maybe you should tell them that you wanted to go with them in their next travel for a change. Ciao!

I think now you are not keeping relationship with your friends.That's why they did not tell their travel planning to you. Don't be disheartened. I use to travel with my wife,not with friends. First travel nearby attractive places.When you will have sufficient money go far far away.Cheers.

When I was in high school, envy had never occurred to me. However, since I entered university, I started to feel a bit envy about some people. But just a bit. Yes. There are people around us who are richer and more powerful or more talented, thus ,their life seems to be more interesting and they can achieve their desires without much effort. However, also coins have two sides. They also have their troubles and annoyances. So ,just be yourself and enjoy your life. No need to bother about others.

In fact ,if we have enough money ,we also go to travel or go to shoppping . there is no need to envy other people's lives! In our daily lives ,we can also do other things to enrich ourselves,or entertainment . Such as reading ,watching movies or go to some party!

I don't really envy my friend. They're most outgoing, partying but I never enjoyed this so I'm quite a lonely type. I've been to many EU countries, mostly because I've participated in Tall Ships Races but now I rather spend my free time in home, with a good book or go on a looong walk with my dog. Well...my life might seem to be rather boring but I really enjoy it.

yeap i have always envied my friends who lived in the other states and go their for hoildays but they keep posted on the daytoday doings and i really enjoy listening to them but i do wish to go their myself
