Can't find a reception venue

I need help for ideas of places to have my wedding reception. I don't have a huge budget, I only have about £600 for the actual place as I've put money aside for table decorations, confetti, place cards, decorations, gifts, etc. I've tried pubs, halls, clubs and hotels but I can't think what types of other places would do wedding receptions.
Does anyone have any ideas to help me out?

My husband and I had our recpetion at a local park. It cost us $40 to reserve the area. You could easily get a tent and some tables and chairs with your budget.
My sister and brother-in-law got married at a winery and had their reception there as well.
I know many people who have had their receptions at fire halls.
Our local golf course has a bar/restaurant. They also have a room for parties and receptions. It is really nice.
Good luck! I hope you are able to find something.

My fiance and I were going to do it in the horse pasture across from us, but we all decided against it once our dog got bit. Now though we're doing it at a church, and we're able to be there for free since my fiance and his mom know the pastor. In any case, if you don't want to do it at a church, what about a community center, or college with an audiotorium?

Glad to have helped, audiotoriums usually have their own seating, you might have to be creative for the decor, but that would work. Or a gym! The church my fiance and I are getting married at is small, so they have basketball goals in the church, We joked that we could play basketball after the wedding, lol!
