Was the guy who plays Sylar on Heroes a good Spock? I thought he did a really good job, and was a good cast overall. I love him on Heroes, and was a bit nervous he would just remind me of Sylar the whole movie, but he didn't. Did anyone else like him in this role?

I was thinking of the same thing too. I didn't want to be thinking Sylar while he's being Spock. I am very impressed with him. I mean, I only knew Zachary Quinto as Sylar and he's good at it but this movie showed that he could also be a good big screen actor. Although both are sci-fi. Still. Spock is awesome! I've never seen the tv series nor the older movies so I can't compare him with the original Spock. Wait 'til I find dvds...

Eh... I thought he was so-so. He just didn't get the SPOCKness of Spock down really. He gave a little to much emotion. Though he did have his mannerisms down quite well. But he still didn't quite pull it off the way I wanted him too. Then again... I wanted Leonard Nimoy. I think he did an okay job. I think he needs Chris Pine to help him with it though. Also McCoy was basically flawless.
