Do not use this free email form service. At first everything is fine, but then suddenly totally out of the blue they will accuse you of using their service for phishing, even though it isn't true. Not only that but they then publish your personally identifiable information right on your very own website costing you all your precious visitors. Be warned! Emailmeform is a major SCAM!

WTF!! is this just a scam to get as many $9.95's as poss???? is this guy a reseller or does he own the script? anyone know of a similar service that DOES upgrade when you pay

I would recommend learning how to make forms yourself. It's pretty simple, if you don't know already you'll just have to learn the basics of HTML and PHP. It's easier than it seems at first, trust me!

So are your forms secure now? Before, anybody could copy the source code of the form from my website and paste it anywhere they wanted resulting in all sorts of mess. They actually accused me of being a dishonest user when I have never ever been dishonest in my use of the service. I just hope things are done a little differently from now on. Anyway, good to hear from you!

I am the new owner/operator of Emailmeform. The company is now comprised of a dedicated development team based out of SW Florida (myself included). You will find many changes (for the better) in terms of ease of use and most importantly, customer service improvements. We do have an issue when upgrading using Paypal. You MUST use the same email address as your free account to automatically upgrade your account. To both parties above, if you upgrade for one year by the end of August for the yearly plan, (recite this email and your user name's) then we will honour THREE full years of service. I hope we can rectify the inconvenience and any other future suggestions as well. P.S.: We have a strong anti-spam policy with ZERO tolerance for fraud. This is to protect our servers and therefore all of our members from potential hackers. We intend to use the full power of the laws of the state of Florida to identify and prosecute any party who is misleading customers using our forms. We constantly strive to be the EASIEST and BEST forms Builder on the web! Sincerely, James St Clair & Emailmeform Team

Hello, I remember viewing this thread a long time ago and thinking to myself awhile back when I was deciding on which form builder to go with. Ultimately, I stayed with Emailmeform.com. They ended up updating the website and their form builder. At first, I didn't like the change but after a couple hours of use it is now much easier to use. I don't think this is the same company that was discussed at the start of this thread. If it is run by the same people they must have done some drastic changes.

Does everything all appear to be legitimate now then? When I first signed up it was a pretty good service, there was only a limited amount of bandwidth available but it did come in incredibly useful. It's just a shame that such a useful service had it's reputation destroyed by scammers. However, if everything has definitely and permanently changed for the better then I may just give it a go again.

Hi android, I don't know if I can comment on whether or not the company is legitimate or not, but I can for sure say that the changes I've seen and experienced has been very positive. Your post across my due diligence as I was about to upgrade to being a Plus Plan member. Everything seemed so negative and I felt a more current response was needed. The difference in the product is night and day. Best of all it was free to test drive. That's what did it for me. My business was slow earlier in the year and free helped me out a lot. It passed my 4 month test, so they have earned my money.

I have never heard of it, But thanks for the heads up. I will be sure to steer clear of it if I ever come across it in the future. What type of site is it? I want to make sure I never accidentally sign up for it either.

It's a site that offers a free (and paid!) html form service. The results from the forms are then sent to your email address. From what I gather, they use this to collect email addresses from your sites visitors, then probably sell them on.

I've never heard of it, but I'll let people know if I see anyone using it. I use an email form from jemjabella.co.uk and haven't had any problems with it :)

Thanks for that, I'll have a look. I suppose it's really quite easy for people to take advantage of the code that emailmeform use. They can quite easily view the source code on a website that uses the service and create their own form using the website owner's ID. For example, they could copy the code, changing it to ask for personal details, host it on their own website and the results would be emailed to the original owners account, thereby making it look like they are phishing!

Hi, My issue is somewhat different. I upgraded to their Pro plan for a year, with still a few months to go on the basic plan. Citing their policy of no reimbursement for cancellation, they are refusing to give me a credit for the remaining amount. Now, had I cancelled just to leave, I would understand. But I UPGRADED. To me, it smells like a dishonest money grabbing exercise!!! I strongly recommend people think twice before going anywhere near emailmeform. Very bad customer service!!!
