I like Sci Fi novels a lot. Mystery and Romantic novels don't really go well with me and i end up stopping them in between. But Sci Fi and spy novels are really interesting and I love to read most of them all the time. I also like fantasy novels like the HP series, LOTR and Eragon series.

Hi Bhabytart, it's always been mysteries for me. I tried reading romance stories during my school days, and found it unrealistic and at times, silly. So I gave them up, and stuck to mysteries - crime and horror. My favorite mysteries during schooldays were those by Enid Blyton (Secret Seven hehe!) and then Agatha Christie!

I like cozy mysteries best, but romance is my second favorite. I like mystery cozies that have a bit of romance in them like the Sue Ann Jaffarian: Odelia Grey series or the Amanda Flower: Appleseed Creek Amish series and the Hannah Swenson series by Joanne Fluke.

That is actually a hard decision for me. I like them both. I have read many Sherrilyn Kenyon's books which are paranormal romances and drew me in from the first book. But then I also love reading James Patterson who is mystery and I love his books as well.

Oh, I do like a good mystery. But usually the romantic novel is the one I chose. I have been reading the second series of Karen Marie Moning and it is great. Her first is still my favorite of all time. If I come across one that is a mystery with a romantic flavor I am in seventh heaven. Good characters that are memorable and realistic are great too.

I prefer to read the MYSTERY BOOK rather than the romance books. personally, all those romantic stories bore my quite a lot. Sometimes, I used to read those also. But, at the last the conclusion becomes predictable. Mystery books twist the brains, compel me to think in the other way, but reality used to something else. That thing really feels me with enthusiasm to read more and more of MYSTERY BOOKS.

Definitely mysteries of all descriptions, though I do enjoy family sagas, especially stories set in earlier periods, as I love history. A mystery, thriller or detective novel excercises your mind, and it's a great feeling if you work out 'whodunnit' or see one of the plot's turns coming. I have a confession to make, though. I have to stop myself from peeking at the last few pages, and sometimes I don't succeed! Strangely, though, it doesn't spoil my enjoyment. Perhaps that's why I like watching reruns of 'Colombo.'

Hmmm I dont really read a lot of romance books, I'm more of a mystery suspense kind of way. It is much easier and doesn't get too boring at the middle of the story, romatinc books tend to be that way. I always liked Dan's Browns way of writing his stories, it has so many twists in the end that you really wouldn't expect the ending to be that way.

I really love romance books. I love the way it makes me react to the book. Sometimes I would say "awww" or I would even cry to something I read. I think I would choose romance books over mystery books. I even love watching romantic series. I guess I am just a "romantic" person. I also love comedy.

I'd rather prefer reading a drama with some romance in it than a whole romantic book. I also like mystery books especially those involving crime. An easy read is good for the summer months whilst when I'm reading some intriguing book I can't get it off my hands.

Definitely mystery book for me.. I like suspense and its good entertainment and keeps you hooked and you read the book much faster.. I dont like romantic novels because I feel like crap after reading one.. seeing that romance doesnt exist in my life so reading one makes me feel depressed and annoyed... so mystery all the way for me... I read the illusionist which is a fantastic book and well there is such a great twist to the story...

I prefer romance books. In fact, I have a romance book collection. I like romance novels because I like sappy stories that make me cry or touch my heart. I am such a romantic that is why I like happily ever afters.
