Well I don't know all of the tricks that you might have tried. But what I have done with my little beasties is that I tell them no and then give them something that they are allowed to chew like rawhide bones or chew toys or treats. But I always make sure when I catch them that they get the NO! and then the replacement item. I broke frost of this very early and he doesn't chew on anything he's not supposed to. Right now I have only had my volcano for about 3 weeks and she's use to being in a kennel so she's got to be trained on this. LOL!! But she is coming around very well.

Most dogs will go through a chewing period, I think. There was a period when my dog chewed on things too, especially shoes. At that time it was probably because of her growing teeth. I got her a ball, and she happened to like that ball so much that she grabbed hold of that ball all the time, chewing on it, until the ball got worn out and torn. She stopped chewing since then. She has not been chewing for a long time now. You can get some chewy toys for your dog. And if she found something she likes, she will grab that particular stuff and chew on it all the time instead of your other stuffs.

I wish all my pup ate was the broom lol. So far she's chewed a wall, a coffee table, part of the garage and a boat load of socks...she's still a keeper tho. We've been working with her, and due to the progress she's made, we think she'll out grow it. Dogs are smart. Work with her, she'll be okay eventually.

My dog went through the chewing stage and I am glad she outgrew it! We tried to keep her from chewing on things by offering her lots of chew toys and for the most part that worked. The chewing stage doesn't last very long. Hang in there!

Both of my dogs used to chew on things, but they really don't anymore, except fot their chew toys. They chew them up most of the time lol. My older dog likes to chew on towels if she can get a hold of them, but I don't let he have them. She wold put holes in them and wouldn't be to nice lol. It did take awhile to get them to stop chewing on things they aren't supposed to have. I had to really work with them, but I finally did it. Most of the time, I would take the object away from them and they would forget about it lol. It works for me lol. Take care, amd happy mylotting.

Lol, I know what you mean, my dog too chews almost all the furnitures in the house. But then dogs are dogs :D hehehehe...well when they grow up to be like a year or two they don't usually chew anymore things at the house, they tend to be mature and behave already. Hehehehe, just be patient with these cute creatures. Its just their nature to chew :D
