I'm really impressed I was able to make some really good money selling some old stuff on eBay. I sold and old rotary telephone from the 1970's today for almost $70. The phone cost me nothing so I made 100% profit from this auction. Just wanted to share. Anyone else had any good selling items on eBay?

You're kidding me? $70 bucks? I have several of those old phones kicking around and, well at least one from farther back than the seventies. This is hugely inspirational as i think I may pull them out, dust them off and put them on EBay.
I am curious what someone buying them would want with them. Any ideas?
I have not ever sold one thing on EBay but I have got some very decent deals, that's for sure.
I have read somewhere too that fireking mugs are a very hot item. They will have the logo FireKing or an anchor on the bottom. Apparently they sell for a reasonable price too. People can find them at second hand shops and yard sales. I'm looking'. Cheers and thanks for sharing. I find this truly amazing.

Yea I know. I didn't think it would go that high. It seems there are people who are collecting old vintage rotary phone. I even found a site for a guy that restores old phones as a hobby.

Really? This is very interesting. i suppose, in the right setting, the old rotary phones could look pretty cool. I have really enjoyed your discussion, thanks. I'm amazed. Time to clear out the basement!

Congrats on the sale and the big profit. Ebay is a great place to sell anything you don't need and you might find out it is an antique and worth quite a bunch of money. I would recommend selling anything you don't need on Ebay, especially if it is taking up a lot of space.
