Do you think graffiti enhances/defines a city's culture or does it ruin it?

Many cities like New York are often portrayed with having graffiti covered buildings. Do you think in circumstances like that does it enhance and build a city's culture or does it ruin it and make it look trashy?

It depends on the kind of graffiti it is and where it's done. If you're talking about 'tags' which is something like a signature then I think that is ruin the buildings but if you're talking about real graffiti I think it's art and as long as it's done somewhere where it doesn't bother anyone like old buildings or old walls I don't see anything wrong with that, I like to see a wall full of graffitis.

I think it depends on the graffiti...I have seen some beautiful buildings..with gorgeous graffiti..i mean JUST GORGEOUS!! and i think that deff enhances the city's buildings..but then there is the Big Uglies..with nothing but swear words,,,and racism remarks..and all that crap/..ok..freedon of speech and all is what were about supposedly in this great country of ours..but i dont think they need express such negativity on buildings..that crap just makes me soo sad..Have a great night!!

I think that graffiti is art and that it is an important part of a city's culture. I love to see graffiti, as long as it is tasteful.
