I don't think that an attraction has anything to do with a true relationship. An attraction too much, will take away from the friendship.

of course it's not true...i have many male friends and believe me, i've looked my worst LOL and i dont choose my friends based on their looks too...it's the heart that count.

My hubby has more female friends than male and they range from very heavy and not attractive to attractive women. So no, they don't have to be after you to befirend you.

As freinds go,a guy can relate to a lady and treat her as such without wanting any intimantcy. However there are guys who play the feiel. Now for me,I can be freinds with a lady and keep as such.not all guys can.

Yes, that is possible, it doesn't mean that everytime that you have a friend(girl) means that you are bfs and gfs. Like in my situation, I have "some" friends(girl) but our it will stay there, just friends.

I think men can be friend with women without an attraction. I have a male friend from college. He is like my big brother to me and Im like a little sister. We dont see much but we still keep in touch. We never had relationship beyond regular friendship.

Yes it is definately true unless he is gay :-) , if he is straight like me then usually a guy befriends a girl because he is interested in more somewhere along the line and a girl most likely knows this and actually does want him as just a friend but doesnt mind the attention she gets from her male friends but acts naive about it as if she doesnt know he is interested :-)

Mostly not... It just a rare occasion that this happens.
