Difficulty trusting friends

Sometimes do u have a pre-notioned impression on ur frens even before u know the real reason n rhyme of thier doings.
I am having difficulty trusting my freind as i happen to know his past and present and esp when it comes to women, even if it just a friend i already have a notion that "must be an ex-gf" factor that comes to my mind and i want to change this attitude as its hampering our friendshi.
Sometimes do u feel like this wid some freinds n how have u coped wid it

there are people i keep away from because of that feeling and im not considering them friends even sometimes we are together laughing, sharing stories and whats up.but i consider them only acquaintances.friends for me are the one i trust and believe can be trusted.It doesnt work anyway to be friend to someone whom you dont feel to trust to and cant be trusted either.

Hey christain...how rightly said...but my case here is that we are best friends (at least we consider ourselves) and now i cant trust him at all...knowing exactly wat he might be thinking on certain issues and tthat despises me...something is really wrong with my attitude i guess.In first place i wouldnt have considerd him a fren but we are always together n now we are great freinds but i cant seem to trust him..... any advice
