Do you start your business with your best friend?

My best friend from high school is so interested and addicted to money that she has dollars in her own dreams.Then, 2 year later we had an unexpected reunion, she asked if I could be her business partner in her upcoming Pawnshop store, I agreed to it immediately. but when i went home and told my hubby about it, but he strongly refused me to join her. we argued and fought as I as shocked by his response. but knowing how sad he was, i decided to agreed to him. that's when told me reason why, he found out that my friend was involved in a Large Scale Scam and his office mate was one of her victims, even showed me some fake receits and checks. shock to belief but that was her signature. after that i gave her a call and changed my mind. didn't tell her other contact info except my email address. have heard that she's on the run because she cheated on her partner and flirted with the partners husband.

i would not start a business with a good friend that there will be probblems and your firendship could end

It will be ok only if two of you have a good understanding with each other. if you been around that person for a while and notice they do odd things to make you feel like they are better than you then thats a sign not to get into business with them because eventually they will feel like they are over you. Hope you understand where I'm coming from. I talk like that because I had a similar situation where a so called friend of mine ask to go into business with me and come to find out they felt like I had money so I figure out they just wanted to use me in that way.
