Have you ever turned an enemy into a friend?

I have a friend who used to be my enemy. She used to make faces everytime we met and I always hated her. I didn't even know why she did that,or what I did to make her do it. One time, she didn't have enough money to pay the cab, but sine it's raining, she didn't have much choice. She didn't know that I was inside the cab, I could still remember the look in her face when she saw me. When she's nearly home, she counted her money from her purse when she only had 5-peso coin when she has to pay 10 pesos. I told her not to worry about the fare because I could lend her the money so she could go home. Her face lit up as she smiled. We became friends since then, and I never got the chance to ask her why she sued to make faces when she saw me.

Yeah it's happened to me quite a bit lately, a few guys that I had problems with in years past are the main people i hang out with now and we all are good friends. I couldn't tell you how it happened but I'm glad it did. It's not cool to have enemies, i'd rather just be friends with everybody, lol

when i was in jr high there was a girl who bullied me around until i stood up to her.i gained her respect and we became best friends threw out jr high school.

One of my college bad mouth me . I won't make friends with him . Since he is my college ,i have to work with him ,i just ignore what he did.

I have never experienced something like this. You have done the right thing. I guess that some person, like the two girls you have mentioned, are just a bit childish and narrow-minded. As long as the "enemy" are kind to them, they will feel guilty and forget the resentment.

If they were at fault, i forgave them. If it was a mis-understanding i will make a conscious effort to rectify the mistake. If i was at fault i will apologize, sincerely. And i will not attempt to apologize until my anger has dissipated, which is why forgiveness is first , of me or them. We may never be best friends but life is too short to be causing resentments in another, my memory is to frail and i don't want to be looking over my shoulder. No, it is just easier to make friends or at least turn them into a neutral party.

we can win over anyone by love,so if you bow yourself automatically your greatest enemy also will become friends..this happens to me also during my 12th Class One boy propose me and after getting rejection he spread lots of bad rumors about me but I didn't take it seriously and I behave normally with him after some days he himself felt guilty and ask sorry and became good friends..

In the college,I have ever a good friend.One day,she borrowed me money,and said that she would returned it after her parents to her living expenses next month. The next month,she please quarters of the classmates out eating after she had taken the remittances.When the other people were gone,she was grinning and said in my ear:"This is just the money I return you!"She laughed a walk,I stared blankly at a half-day no a word... From then on,no matter how she said that I have refused to lend money to her.As for her in the classroom how to say something about me,I just have not heard.What a friend?!
