Do you think it necessary to have a nap every day?

I am the one who likes taking a nap after lunch. Without nap, i can't work well in the afternoon. But in office, i can only take a nap on the desk, which makes me uncomfortable and i can hardly fall asleep. The rest day, i will fell sleepy. My colleague teases me that she doesn't need to have a nap and she think taking a nap is a waste of time. She can do a lot of things while i am having a nap. But i simply can't agree with her. Instead, having a nap is good for our health. Don't you think i am right?

I don't know whether it is necessary or not but I know I need to take a nap before going to work (I work in afternoon school, we start at 1.30 pm) If I don't do that I'll be a bit sleepy at work, which is not good as I need full concentration. Besides, taking a nap doesn't mean hours of sleeping. Just resting for at least ten minutes is enough.

Exactly right, we don't need hours of sleeping to make it a nap. In fact, if i can really fall asleep, fifteen minutes will be enough for me , and i will be energetic. But first of all, i can fall asleep. :)

I don't think it's necessary to have a nap every day. I think if you're really tired though and you're just not able to function, then I think a nap may be in order. However, I don't think it should be a long nap if possible. Short naps tend to energize you and make you feel better than long naps. However I think it should be whatever the person is more comfortable taking.

I think if you have a routine schedule then it is okay to take naps. But if your schedule is different each day then it depends. Naps are very important to get that extra boost of energy that we all need. I usually take naps like twice a week myself.

Only twice a week? Oh, i can't manage to do that. But maybe you are right. If it is not my routine, i will be used to working well without a nap. I think i can have a try.
