I generally use discarded TOOTHBRUSH
- For cleaning up my combs,
- Cleaning up nails,
- For painting purpose where you dip toothbrush in color and pull with your thumb on drawing paper to get that sprayed effect
- Cleaning pressure cooker whistle or rims of utensils where scrubber can't reach
- Recently I have started cleaning my Mixer grinder with a brush an Oral-B. I put liquid drop inside the mixie, fill it with water and then rotate it with the back of a brush... so that I need not switch on the mixie to clean the blades....and thus save some electricity haha!....
What do you do with your discarded toothbrushes?//smile//

I use them for all kinds of cleaning purposes! They work great for grout of the tile. They are great for tough stains in the toilet or tub. Most recently, I used one to clean out the pipes under the sink. The sink was draining slowly, so we took the pipes apart and cleaned them!
On other thing that they are really useful for, but looks somewhat strange is stakes. I will use them to hold up small plants in the garden or to mark rows. This is a great use after they get so dirty you cant use them to clean anymore!

Oh! thats pretty cool idea to hold small plants and mark the rows.. I never thought something like this could be done. I will support small plants in my garden as they are fragile and fall off when strong wind blows , apart from that it will look cute too.. Nice way of using them. All the best to you....
