Wolverine's choice

In my opinion, the Americans believe in love, when they have to make choice between love and human race, the will most possibly choose love. In Spider Man I , the spider-man saves his girl first when his girl friend and some other people fallen
at the same time; In Matrix II Neo choosed the door to save the woman he loved, not the door to save human being. At the end of x-men III , Wolverine killed Jane Gray the beautiful woman who he loved, so all human being and mutations had be rescued.
He made a hard and agony choice , that's hard to understand . As long as I was concerned, I might leave her alone , not matter she would kill many people or not.

The funny thing is is that you wouldn't expect a character like wolverine to make that sacrifice for human kind. You would expect a noble character like spider man or neo to make that choice, and it turns out that they are googly eyed and in love. It took a rebellious tough guy to make that choice and make the most "noble" decision of all.

the best part of this movie,,xmen,,was the romance part,ehems,,coz,,jane was so good in, calming others in fact, it was her power,in the mutant world,,i watch the movie over and over again,,i thought it was going to be a flop coz of the leakout,,but it occurs other way,,,

I think Wolverine knew he would have to face a tough decision like this. Especially since he was trying to kill the bad part of Jane, Phoenix. He knew that the person he was killing was NOT Jane Grey, but a seperate person altogether. This Phoenix person was just living in Jane's body. She killed anybody and everybody if they tried to cross her. When Wolverine stabbed her, Jane was able to take control long enough to thank him. As far as he was concerned, by that point, she was nolonger the love of his life. He was doing what he had to do to protect the world, mutant and human alike.
