Which is your favorite home made sweet or cake?

there are still so many sweets that are so simple and doesn't have to involve cooking or baking it in the oven. i love cooking its been a great past time for me. i bake cakes, brownies and cookies too. but you could try to make cathedral window, its so simple to make and you dont need an oven to do it. yes tiramisu is also one of the simple sweets that can be made with out cooking it. also refrigerator cake and many many more.

I think my very favorite sweet is chocolate chip cookies. Nothing is as tasty as a freshly baked ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie. Nice and warm from the oven... I think I will make some homemade chocolate chip cookies tomorrow. Maybe I will do it when the kids get home from school... Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

it would be a cross between potatoe candy and peanut butter cookies. both of which i've been good at cooking for about 30 yrs. and some of the things i can actually cook good

My favourite sweet is a trifle which is one of my specialities. I love crumbles as well. Damson crumble is good with brandy sauce. When I make rhubarb crumble I add some pineapple chunks and that is really good. Apple crumble with rum and raisin ice cream also goes down well. I use brown sugar and wholemeal flour when making crumbles.
