Old Songs, New Songs

My husband is busy in front of his laptop again, transferring songs to his ipod. He loves listening to music and, whenever he can, he has his earphones in his ear. What I find funny is that he is always updated when it comes to music. He has the latest pop, rock, alternative and RNB songs in that hardworking ipod of his. Me, I am just 30, but I am afraid I no longer care for new songs. My mind refuse to let in music after the 90's. I am stuck to songs up to the 90's
What about you? Do you still listen out for new songs? Or are you already happy with the old songs?
Have a nice day!

I am in my early twenties today but I still listen and love old songs. I also love new songs but I find old songs better than new ones. Even those revival songs, the originals are still better. My husband and I has big age gap but we both love new and old songs. He tells me about old songs and I inform him about new songs. But then we have set of collections that we both love.

Hi, Yori About revivals. I like the originals better too. You see, with due respect to those who have really great voices, I do not like songs where the singers prolong one note in a high pitch. Did I say that right? There are a lot of that going around in revivals, thus, I like the laid-back singing of the originals.

Yes, maybe that's it, mapuang.
Maybe I like the old songs because they have been there and have been played over and over. I do not have a radio, believe it or not, so I do not have much opportunity to catch the latest songs. No time to look for them in the net too. I am not the type to hear one song once or twice and immediately gets to like it. I have to here a song dozens of times for me to like it.
I am an old cow

I enjoy old and new songs. Songs from the 60's and 70's are some of my favorites, and sometimes I pick up on the pop music my kids listen to and like a lot of that also. It just depends.

Hi, Rainegurl! I am into whatever sounds good to my ears! I like mostly the 90s old jams. It takes me back when I was in Elementary and Middle School. This is when music was hot and sexy! I usually will go on Yahoo and Youtube to listen to old jams that you hardly hear on the radio. I love it! It takes me back! I love the feeling! I can actually remember a song and when they used to play that particular song in my lifetime. I love new songs, I like the way that they stay changing up the beats and vocals. It matches today's jams greatly.

Hi, cream
I like hearing music from the 80s and 90s too, especially when I know the lyrics and I can sing along with it.

Im a music lover. I love listening to alternative and pop rock. Also a bit of RNB and reggae music. I'm more into new songs. But I love some songs also from the 90's. Actually, Im not choosing a song, either new or old but I'm into lyrics and the beat.

I love alternative and rock! I was a rocker when I was a teenager
I love the likes of Nirvana, Blind Melon and Bush. Pearl Jam! Love them all.
I also used to go to amateur battle of the bands then.
No RNB and reggae, though.
Take care!

Hi, whykwiki
Maybe that's it. Maybe the reason why I like old songs is because it brings back good memories. Maybe in year 2020 or so I would already like Taylor Swift and all the other songs from new singers.

I have mixtures of songs in my playlist, ranging from classics to modern songs. Any songs with fast track and good lyrics fit me. So, my playlist contain songs from other languages than English too. I don't listen to radio so I don't really know any new song coming out but my sister does. She's the one that download new songs into my pc.

You are right. It does not really matter if its a new song or an old song. I am just amazed at his diligence with his ipod
Anyway, I have a suspicion I would get to like Miley Cyrus and Pussycat Dolls 5, maybe 10, years from now.
By the way, I have an ipod shuffle too. I use it not for storing and listening to music, but for storing documents. I am terrible, aren't I?

Mostly,I love old songs more than new songs. Most of the old songs are classical and they can bring you back to the beautiful memories.Of course ,some new songs are great too,but there are so many great songs in the world .It is impossile to listen all of them,so I chose the old songs.
