I was just reading about a priest in Miami who was spotted hugging a girl bare chested. They admitted to having a relationship two years prior. When the priest hood was first established they were able to marry. Do you think that priests should be allowed to get married again?

Why not? Just becuase they are messengers of/for god etc doesnt make them any less human nor does it cancel out any natural human desire for love and companionship...

Well yes, why not? They are only human like you and me.
They should be able to get married or have a relationship.
It is only human.
Take care.

This issue of priest of not getting married is something which is sensitive, there are some priest whom they know their purpose very well. Even Paul in the Bible say if a man does not able to keep himself from temptation, led him marry, with that piest who was found seducing a girl, should get married because he has shown that he cannot be faithfull in God's work. This work of God is full of temptation.

Yes, I think that a priest should be allowed to get married. The priest in Miami is now trying to decide whether he wants to leave the church and marry the girl, or leave the girl and stay in the church. He has been granted a period to think on this away from the church. I don't think that he should have to choose. He should be able to have a family and still spread the word of God. But I am not Catholic, so I don't know why they place so much emphasis on celebacy.

No, I don't think they should be allowed to marry. If they were, they wouldn't be able to focus exclusively on the things of God; part of their attention would be on how to provide for the exclusive relationship that comes with marriage. The priest you're talking about has broken every vow he took when he was ordained, and this is not a good thing.
