Between Dreams and Reality

Basically, I've always wanted to know this. Basically answer: What was/is your dream? Did it come true? What did you reach instead? My dream job is an astronomer " not an astronaut" however I'm still in my education and still don't know my fate. Please contribute. I really want to know other people's experiences in this domain.

My dreams in life has changed through various phases in life. Right now, i want a peaceful life and its happening. As a I child I dreamt of being a doctor which i could nit achieve but I work in hospital industry now. I wish you luck on fulfilling your dream, Astronomy sounds good. keep working on it. Good luck!

Well... I'm trying to decide in my life a very great decision. Go after a job and money or Go after astronomy however much it drains out of me. You see, Astronomy doesnt have much to offer financially. This has been tricking me for a while now..
