Richard, my cat, is scarring me to death at the moment. He's missing. I've looked everywhere in the house and he's not here. I reported him missing to the police and the landlord. The only problem is he doesn't like to wear a collar. When I tried to put one on him, he tried to strangle himself and then chew through it. He succeeded in chewing through it.
I think he went out when they changed the windows although I told the window guy to look out for him. I thought because I couldn't find him that he had hidden under the bed because he doesn't like loud noises. In fact, he hid, I thought before the man even began moving the windows. We looked for him before so we could put him in the bathroom during the construction but he couldn't be found. He doesn't like either men or large objects so we thought he was scared. I hope he comes back soon. I miss him. My assistant says he's probably visiting kitty friends and having a good old time while I worry. I hope so.

First of all sorry for your Richard. May be your assistant is correct, most of the times when cats are missing they are always seen with some other cats outside. So, do check with the group cats and you will definitely get him back. If you have some photographs of him do make several copies of it and do share with the people nearby your house and friends too. You will get him back don't worry.all the best :)

I hope you find him soon. Hopefully, when things quiet down, he will make his way home. Good luck. I am sure he will come home.

As soon as I hit submit on this response, I am going to say a prayer that he returns safely. I know how scary it is for a pet to get away from home. And I know how much it hurts if they don't come back. So please let us know what happens. I'm going to be praying! I take this seriously, and I know God does too.

Awww! That is always scary.
I remember how tought it was trying to keep my cat out of the way and in the house when we had our windows replaced. At one point I had to just hold him because they had at least one window out in every room! I was not about to lock him in the closet!
Is there a sound that he usually responds to? My cat comes running when I shake the bottle of treats! You could try doing that outside to see if he will respond to you.
I hope you find him soon.
