Which is the musical instrument you like listening to most ?

It is really amazing there are so many types of musical instruments played in different countries. Each has unique rhythm and sound. I get so fascinated with the beauty of the musics coming from different instruments, harps, flutes, drums, piano. My favorite has been the clarinet , very enchanting ! You will have your own favorite too, amongst the instruments played in your country and culture. Which would you say is the musical instrument you like listening to most ?

I'm a big fan of bass guitar and it's classical counterpart, the cello. I'm hoping to learn how to play soon. I also love piano and classical guitar.

Well, awhile ago I would have said the saxophone or the piano. But after watchng the movie Pan's Labyrinth, the violin has become my favorite musical instrument to listen to. The score to that movie was tremendous. I downloaded a couple snippets of the soundtrack music to my ipod. Parts that the violin is heavily featured.

Hey greenline! I enjoy listening to someone playing the guitar!
That and the drums are my favorite instruments! I am more of
the Rock, R & B, Pop and band type of music! But, I can't
resist some sitting a strumming a guitar! I happen to really
love music, but am kind of picky as to which types! And I
know we wouldn't agree on the musical catergories, but since
music is a language that anyone can speak that is alright
with me! lol

I like playing and listening to the piano very much. I am studying now some tabs and notes variations. The sound of it hold me captivated every time. I am currently hooked to a few anime and asian dramas with musical themes *smiles*. I like the sound of violin, too. It is very serene, brings me back nostalgia. I would also like to learn how to play one. Thanks for asking this interesting question.

there are two, the piano when Chopin is played and Rock guitar, especially when Jimi Hendrix plays. Or blues/rock of Stevie Ray Vaughn, or Slash.with Chopin, any piece takes my breath away. As for rock, it shoot through me like a lightning bolt.

I'm really torn on this. So many instruments are sooo beautiful. But I would have to say that it's a toss up between the guitar, piano, and violin. And the Japanese Shamisen. I love instruments that can produce a haunting melody, the kind of tune that seeps into your soul and stays with you.

I played the clarinet in my high school marching band. I play the guitar, piano, and the harmonica. My favorite instrument is the guitar, though. It just always has been for some reason. I guess because I always liked Elvis and he played the guitar. I always like The Beatles, too, and they played guitars. The guitar is easy to carry around to different places. Kathy.
