Bed tea/coffee?

Hi forcashksd, I like to get up frm my bed and make a nice cup of coffee and then I go brush my tteth and have my bath then later have my breakfast and another cuppa then I drink water all day long. Tamara

Hi Forcashksd, I took it wrong, i thought you meant have a coffee or tea before you go to sleep. I don't think drink a coffee or tea if good for your sleep. I can't sleep if i have a coffee or tea before i sleep. Now i understand, you mean when you get up in the morning, a cup of tea or coffee. I only have a warm water when i get up, it's good for my stomach.

I would think it is better to drink your tea before you brush because then whatever residue that could get on your teeth you can get off when you brush. But if you drink it after brushing then your teeth would get dirty again wouldn't they?

I do that sometimes especially when the pipe runs dry. I have no choice but to take my early morning coffee even without brushing my teeth.

Hi forcashksd, I don't think I will ever drink anything without brushing my teeth. After the whole night of sleep I think there will be bacterial in my mouth so I don't want to get them into my stomach.

Why do you call it bed tea? Isn't bed tea the kind of tea that does not have caffeine, and in fact, actually makes you sleepy? That is the difference between bed tea and breakfast tea, if I am not mistaken. Anyway, in the morning I always eat before I brush my teeth :) Food tastes better before brushing my teeth because the mint from the toothpaste gets in the way after brushing. I just gargle before breakfast but do not brush until after. Thanks for the response on my discussion!
