Hi! Cindy!
No one is mature enough till s/he faces some kind of real experiences in his/her life. When we get married, irrespective of our age (e.g. 21, 24 or 29), we face our respective partners, after marriage, for the first time. Those who have lived in conservative enviornment find it difficult to understand the intricacies of marriage and how to manage with your respective partners. I also feel that I was quite immature, when I got married and I learnt step-by-step, how to adjust with my better half in married life. Brining up kids also taught us many lessons in our life.

Thanks for appreciating my response and thoughts. I try my best to be a good hubby (rest I'll have to get to conformed it from my better half, if she thinks I am a good husband.....LOL!)
I try to adjust with others, as much as I can.
Also, 'Maturity is proportionate to the embarassement one can feel'.

Well I truly fell in love with my boyfriend at the age of 20 and I think it is quite a reasonable age to fall in love to, We are more mature and understanding, we are both 20 years and we think marriage is a bit far now as we want to enjoy a bit our love before marriage;-)

hi lotters, i want to share with you my first love or marriage. at the age of 15 i met my first love and then later we married. Meaning My husband was my first and last love. At first, prior to our marriage my friends used to advice me that I should be regret for having been quick decision due to the fact that i surely missed the life of being single wherein at my age , theres a lot of things i never experienced as lady life. But because we loved each other and my husband promised to let me pursued my studies when we're already married. So here I am now we've been married for 36 years and i'm presently employed as teacher in a private Institution , My 3 kids were all professional, In short I have a happy marriage life , I have a good husband , and i can prove to my friends that all their specualtions were all false. thanks to my lotters

Thinking about it, I'm honestly not sure when I first really fell in love. I had a boyfriend at a very young age, and I thought it was love. But I'm actually not so sure because, like what I said, I was really young then and I wouldn't know what 'love' really is, unlike now.. Anyway, when I was in high school, I told myself and my friends that I will get married at the age of 25. However, I'm way past that age - I'm already 28, and I think I'll be 29 when I get married! ^_^

well, my age of first love is 16, and i have not married yet. The first love was sweet and I was grateful to be loved and to love, even i didn't understand what love is fully. We were so happy then. However, reality is reality. We had to be apart~ I understand now.

My first true love was at age 13, but the girl obviously did not feel the same way, so it ended up in nothing. At the same time another girl was trying to get my attention, but I had eyes for only one. Me first serious relationship was at was at age 18, until she cheatd me with my brother, and we broke up.
Since then relationships had come and gone, the one lasting the longest was 2years. I eventualy got engaged but pulled out. I never got married. At age 38 I am still single and pretty much enjoy it. I have no regrets, just good, and some bad, memories.
Blessings

Hi, Cindy! Greeting from China.
My age of first love is 18 and i'm currently in a relationship, i don't know when will my marriage be.
My first love started shortly after my National College Entrance Exam, Here in China, this exam is like the SAT in the states is very important to a high school student. My first girlfriend failed the exam, and she went to a professional school(which is no that good in China), and we are living in different cities, just kinda distant love. And she couldn't stand that, then we broke up.
Though the result is a little bitter, the memory is wonderful, that kind of feeling, is just beyond words, any language.
Please forgive my poor English, i'm sure there're many mistakes here. If possible, could you point the mistakes out for me? Thanks in Advance.
Have a nice day and enjoy mylotting!

Well I think when I was around 10-11 years old at that age I liked a girl.
She was so cute and beautiful that I was staring at her every time I found her.
But she was staying at my native place so I used to visit there only once or twice in a year that too during those days.
I proposed her but she was scared of her father and so stopped talking to me.
There were family problems among our families.

Oh you get married at a quite young age. For me i would think that love and marriage is one of the course of life. Life without these things will be like incomplete. So, my life is still incomplete now, haha. I'm now 24 but still not yet have first love. I think first love is sweet, and both of the persons will have deep memories of it for the rest of their life. Wish i can meet my annother half one day in soon. Good luck :)

Hi Cindy,
I had my first love or rather first crush when I was in High School. He was my classmate that time, then later on he courted me, but since I was only 15 that time, I was not that serious in that kind of relationship and I just ignore it. But he was my crush really that time. Since we went to college, I never had a boyfriend because I am focusing on my studies and since I was a Dean's Lister in our school, I make it to a point that I study harder. Even though somebody is courting me I didn't entertain them because of my studies.
When I have my work when I was at the age of 23, I met my crush in High School and so we talked and exchange of Cellphone Numbers. Since that day he began texting me and calling me and even fetch me in our office. And that's the start of my First Love. And after two years of being boyfriend/girlfriend, we got engaged for another two years and then we got married when I was 27 years old and he was 28 that time. We are now celebrating our 2nd year wedding anniversary this month of May.
