How can you say that the site you're signing up really pays?

I'm just wondering, i joined many money making online site in the net and it disappoints me whenever one or some of my money making online site becomes a scam. I couldn't help but to be sad because the time i make just to earn will just end up to nothing. How will i know if im on the right track of consuming my time to such money making online sites?
