I want to know your opinions if you prefer taking a bath using shower or dipper method? In our province, we usually used dipper method. We can save a lot of water a bath using dipper. It's a non sense question but I just want to know your thoughts:)

hi! well it makes sense thinking about ways to save water... with the global situation and all. :) i try not to waste water but i still prefer taking the shower method because i want both of my hands free while doing my hair. i'm more efficient and faster that way because i have long hair. it will just get all tangled up if i don't make use of both my hands while washing my hair. when sometimes the shower won't work, i can make do with the dipper and pail... but it will take me twice as long to finish. hehehe

In the province I use dipper because there is no shower. I wish there is shower because water in the province is for free. You just have to have a deep dig and put a "gripo" I do not know the English counterpart. Here in city I use shower because husband replaced the old shower head with a better one. Besides we are only renting and it happens that this unit has a shower so we are lucky. But if there is no shower then we will stick with the traditional method of using the dipper. Anyway whatever way, I always make sure that I do not consume too much water. I just take bath with minimal consumption because everything here is paid.

Thanks Yori88. Me, im also renting, but water bill is already a package with my monthly bill. So, I often have a bath three times a day. hehehe

A shower can be very relaxing at the end of a day, or in the very beginning of a new day for me.I always get thrilled and enjoy the cool water running down on my back.I always enjoy the powerful jet of water with full stinging force on my body to take away the tiredness and instill that great freshness.

hehehe. The 'tabo' method in our country. You use a dipper and a pale for you to take a bath.:) Thanks anyway for the reply.

Good day, rsanders26! Well, me too, I prefer to use a dipper in taking a bath rather than using shower. A lot of water is consumed when using the shower while in dipper method, the water consumed is just enough. We can conserve water when using dipper in taking a bath rather than shower and at the same time, we save money. This is my view to your topic, happy mylotting and have a nice day!

I don't really understand what dipper method mean. I just have bath and shower at home. Mainly I use shower. It's conviniet and fast, not to mention to save water. I alwasy try to save water for evorimental protection also for my bill. Occasionally if i'm very tired in winter I have a bath for good treatment. I found the water for one bath almost can offer 5 times of showers. What a big waste if you take bath every time.

Hi sblossom. Thanks for the response. Anyway, dipper method in our place is very common.:) 5 times of shower is really a big waste for just a bath.

I often shower when taking a bath. But when the shower isn't available or if the water supply isn't that strong, I use the dipper to bathe. Even though using dipper can help me control the water I use, I prefer the shower because it's faster and easier for me to take a bath.

I prefer using shower because it's more convenient and relaxing. But there were times in the past that I used dipper, when I was still in the dormitory and water became scarce there...just terrible!
