Personally in a lot of ways I was really Happy when it was Helen over Tara, as I really did not want to see Tara win for sure. I do think that Helen is now too skinny and took the weight thing a little too far. Personally, I was rooting for Mikey and felt he should have won it all as to loose over 200 pds. in one season is truly amazing. And he looked awesome. Kudos to the rest of the contestants for a Great season, and amount of weight loss and hope they can continue to keep it up as well. I truly was proud of everything this show does and teaches, and I only continue to wish them all of the Best when they no longer are competing against anyone. ~~TINA~~

Whats with all the hating on Tara? She wasn't mean to anyone and she worked hard to win those challenges. I was hoping she would win because she worked hard and deserved it. I think Mike got a little money or winning hungry at the end when he voted off Kristen. And I never like Helen after the thing with her daughter. I actually wish Filipe or Sione had won something, I really enjoyed them and they seemed to be there for the right reasons. It was a good season and I hope they all keep the weight off.

These are some good points you shared. I just did not like Tara's personality on how she dealt with things is all. But overall it was a Good season and I am looking forward to many updates somehow and see just who can continue to keep it off and improve from there as well.

Hi Tina: Yeah I was hoping Mike would win, like you said he lost over 200 lbs, and was so very close to the "silly amount" they were saying he had to lose in order to win, they way they do that makes me crazy I think they should go by pounds myself; I agree Helen now is too skinny, I think Its wonderful that she lost so much and the older guy, can't think of his name now DUH!! he lost 177 pounds what the heck did this man do to lose it so fast at home...yikes!!! Wish I could carve the fat off of my body, but there's no way I could do the stuff they do on there, too many injuries via my neck and back... I was proud of all the members they all did such an AWESOME JOB on their weight loss! Truly amazing!!!!

Yes, being able to loose the weight in the amount of time that they do on the show is amazing, and hopefuly they're all learning New skills and such to keep it all off for many years to come. I know for me, loosing weight is a challenge to keep off, but we can learn many things from this show on Healthy eating, etc. for sure. I just wonder how many will keep it off, and can't wait to see and read updates on many of the past contestants for sure.

You know what? I bet you could do what they were doing - not quite to the same degree because on the show, they go at it like it's a job. None of us normal folks can work out for 8+ hours a day lol. I am pretty sure on the show that's what they do though, it's almost like being a fitness instructor who does 10 aerobics classes or weightlifting classes a day. They just have to keep going and going and going... A good trainer would find a way to help you get in shape and lose fat (not just weight) and improve your health, even if you had to work against injuries and other problems. It might take a year or longer, not just 4 months, but it could be done

i agree....i was happy it was helen instead of tara..but very disappointed it wasn't mike...i lost respect for helen when she let her daughter go home...everyone knew her daughter needed to be there more than helen n now look at her daughter...she looks the same and i think helen looks older now that she lost more weight...i thought she looked good when she left the ranch. oh well..i was happy that jerry won the 100,000 though... i wanted either him or ron.

I was really hoping Mike would win. So I was disappointed that he didn't. But regardless, he has a lot to be proud of (as does everyone on the show) with losing that much weight. But I bet he is still kind of disappointed to get that close (what was it, like five more lbs. he needed to be the winner?) and not make it. But they all did a good job though, I will say that.

Personally it is interesting to see what they can do. If he would not have had to sit out for a short time with the injury to where he could not work out like he wanted and needed too, I think he could have proved more to himself and the others on this show that he meant business. I just Love to see the transformation and changes each season just to see how determined they can get and stay as well. Teaches us all without determination you get stuck in a rut for sure.

This season was a little different for me in that there wasn't anyone that I really liked over anyone else. Tara did and said some things that I wasn't thrilled about, but then on the other hand she followed the one strategy that gauranteed her being a finalist, she stayed above that line. that was something that no one else was able to do. I liked Mike. He seemed like he had a good heart. I would have liked him to win, but i didn't think he had the percentage to win. He did make it close though. As for Helen, I've had kind of a problem with her since she let her daughter go home instead of her. I think she should have gone home and let her daughter stay on campus. So, i really didn't want to see her win. But she pulled it off. And what aboout Jerry? Wow! He's a different man. It was funny seeing the expressions on the other contestants when Ali told them how much they's have to lose to take the lead away. It's a shame that he weighed in first, took kind of the drama away. I think all the contestants did amazing this season. Hopefully next season they'll get another good group of "losers".

Yes, it would have been better if Jerry could have weighed in later to keep the Suspense going, but he did look great. And Yes, I felt Helen did have an attitude as well as Tara so I was disappointed when she won. It will be curious to see down the road who can really keep it off, and what seems to continue to work for them as well.

I wanted Mike to win too, but hey, Helen looks great and it is amzing the transformation from the beginning to the end. I know I could never do it as the challenges would have been way to hard for me to even try to do them. I also think that Ron looked good, and I was surprised he lost as much as he did. H e is atotlly different person too, and so is Mike. I am certainly glad that Tara didn't win, as I thought that she seemed t uppity uppity for me. She thought she would win, and she might have if Helen hadn't done as well s she did. I think, actually they all look pretty good, especially Jerry. It was like he lost a whole person losing that much weight. All, in all, I did like the outcome as I think Helen looks fantastic. Take care and happy mylotting.

Well, it is always interesting to watch the formation changes week after week as well as learn a little bit more about what to eat as well. What really amazed me is the determination everyone seemed to get at the end to win. I just really am interested to see what they do from here, and wish they could show more updates of previous contestants as well.

I was also hoping that Mike would win. He was very close to beating Helen. I don't think that Helen is too skinny. She looks great. She isn't very tall, so you have to take that into consideration with her current weight. I was thrilled that it wasn't Tara. I was so tired of seeing her win every challenge and never going under the yellow line. Yeah for Helen!! I was so excited for Jerry! He looked like a different person from the time he was on the ranch.

Yes, Jerry did look like a totally New person for sure. It is always interesting to see how people do, and what motivates them, and to see if they can keep it off later on as well. I think overall they need to show more updates on the people to see who the Real winners continue to be as well.

I was really surprised. I thought for sure that America would vote for Mike - which everyone did, but i was shocked that Jerry beat Ron. Then as far as Helen, Tara, and Mike, I thought it would be between Tara and Mike, not Helen. My hubby was surprised too. We pegged Tara and Mike for final contenders early on in the show, between his determination to NOT be what he was any more, and being only 18, and Tara winning what, like 16 or 18 challenges in a row. All the winners were older, and the ones who had lost the most were too. We would NOT have picked Helen to win at the beginning, and probably not even within the last few weeks. She did lose a lot of weight though, and in my opinion she looked AWESOME! If she can do it at 48 (and look better than her daughter I might add), then if someone is motivated, anybody can! All three of the final contestants looked AMAZING, you could see how far they had come when you compared them to week one. Although I cannot imagine letting myself go to that point, I can still see that on a small scale, that happens to a lot of people every day, a few skipped workouts here, a few desserts there, a drinking binge, a party or vacation where even walking goes by the wayside, know what I mean? It doesn't happen overnight, it's a string of 'little things' that just continues on past where you should stop it and get back on your workout bandwagon lol. What I always find inspiring is how even the older contestants with all sorts of health problems and conditions and diseases can get off the medications and curb the problems and diseases and become healthy again. That is truly motivation for taking care of yourself, being free of chronic problems and medication even when you hit 50, 60, 70.

I personally did not want Helen to win. If anything as much as I liked Tara and I was rooting for her through out the show, I was hoping that Mike would have won. The way I saw it is that Tara did not really care about the money that much as she really cared about finding herself again. But I figure since she was victorious with the most challenges won, never falling below the yellow line and losing most weight ever for a female on campus, that Mike should have won the 250K. But I have to say he looks smoking hot now. I so agree with you though Helen does look really too skinny now. I am so proud of everyone that lost weight. I although was very upset about Dave though only losing 30 some pounds. But then again I knew that would happen. He just did not seem to have to the ambition to lose any weight at all but I will give him crops for losing a little at least. As for Kristin oh my gosh did she ever look so good. The blonde hair and all, she looks really nice. Also to see Allison have to get her back to the group so that they could go change was so funny. Who knew that she would be so into wanting to see everyone else and to see her act very nice lady like. Either way I think it is great that another Jillian member won again. That just shows Bob that he is not all king(JK). But I think this season was the best yet to air on T.V. Happy Mylotting

I was hoping for Tara, I haven't been much of a Helen fan after what happened with her daughter but I don't hate any of them and I didn't care too much who won. They're all winners in a way, cliched as it sounds. I think Helen actually DOES seem a bit too skinny now but I think part of her loss was so that she could be sure to win, more about the competition than wanting to be THAT thin, so maybe she'll put five or ten pounds back on. Considering she seems to have some loose skin she'd be even LESS than 117 without it and she's 5'6 which makes it almost UNDERweight. It's amazing how they were able to transform their bodies and their lives in just a few months.

I think unless they have some type of surgery there is always excess Skin when people loose a lot of fat. I know even for myself because of being able to loose over 30 pds. there is excess skin. But it is amazing what they are able to accomplish on Biggest Loser in a short time for sure.

yes but they are all deserving to win because they all put an effort to lose weight and to have a healthy lifestyle and that is what matters the most.

I'm so glad to have found this discussion, even though it is older. I was actually cheering for either Tara or Mike to have won the season. I came to the point that I didn't like Helen after she begged for the other competitors to send her daughter home instead of sending her home. The way that I see it, her daughter is young and needed to have had the support of the other contestants on the ranch, and of course she hasn't had a long time to live her life at this point. So, in that case, I am not really happy with the final results of who won the grand prize. What I was really happy about, on the other hand, was the fact that Grandpa Jerry won the at home prize. I think about him not even being able to make it through a workout in the beginning and then being so much thinner in the end. He is an inspiration.
