Recently,I've been working on the fiction,"A Cathedral Courtship",but some expressions baffled me. So I hope someone could give me a hand and explain them in an easy way.
,"doing the English Cathedral towns".is "doing" means "travelling"?
,"there was no immediat danger, with which exchange of hostility they parted".What does it mean?
,"she is awfully high church"
,"bring me into the true fold"
,"serving,imitative instincts"
,"Miriam-like flights"
,"toppingest"
,"marriage bell".
Thanks for your help!
