My new cuttlebug

I got a cuttlebug. It came in yesterday and I love it! I got it mainly for embossing purposes. I have a cricut for cutting so I really just want the cuttlebug for embossing and it does a great job of that!!! I love it! Oh did I mention that already?
Do you own a cuttlebug? Do you love it,like it, hate it?

Cuttlebug??? Nope don't have one not sure what I would do with it if I did have one but have to admit when I first read this discussion I thought it said, "cuddlebug" and was going to say don't have one and don't know what I'd do with it if I had it. Hummm guess the same answer either way - seriously though I'm glad you love it and it sounds interesting.

I am really excited about all the different embossing folders I can get for the cuttlebug and they are not that expensive either around $4.49 each folder. I am making some new cards today so it will be a busy day for me. I need to make a thank you card for my buddy that I am riding to St. Augustine with on Sunday. We got invited to a big shindig for our company that we are tax preparers for. The company is having a big shindig in a fancy hotel (casa monica hotel in St. Augustine Florida look it up to see where I will be on Sunday and Monday and see why I am so excited) for the companies top performers! I was a top performer can you believe it?

I do own one and love it too. I have a ton of envelopes and just started getting the nestibilities....I took it to my stamping club last night and let the other gals use it....one bought a bunch of envelopes already as she loves it so much...I do hope you enjoy it as much as I have....and my little granddaughter who is four....absolutely loves using it and the sizzix.

I wish there was a stamping club around here. If there is one I have no idea where or when they meet. It sounds like a lot of fun though. I love my cuttlebug. I can't wait till tomorrow....I ordered the swiss dots folder and it should be here tomorrow!!!

I'm in a stamping club too, jillhill. We took a little break and haven't gotten back on track with it yet. I miss it!

I've never heard of a cuttlebug, but it sounds like an interesting thing to have. I was thinking of getting some sort of personalized embosser to make something for cards and stuff (to personalize my own stuff for Hubby and I instead of ordering it). I know what a Cricut is, and I think they're awsome. I wonder if they sell them in Canada! Is there anything you can't do? You are one of the best people I know, when it comes to doing crafts.

thank you, you always make me feel so good! Yep there are things I cannot do one of them is build furniture and I sure need three tables built for this craft room of mine. I will post a pic of the cuttlebug later. i love it.

I don't have one. A friend allows me to use hers. But I've only used it twice. She uses it all the time. She and other friends with one get almost silly talking about ideas and things they have finished.
I'd never purchase something like that without a dedicated craft room to work in. I just hate pulling everything out and putting in back to do projects.....

I dont know what a "cuttlebug" is but, i am familiar with the cricut. I have been wanting to get the Cricut for quite a while now but am wondering about the cost of everything that you would need to use it. Could you give me some advise on it.

My best advise would be if you are going to get a cricut or cricut expression to look first on HSN.com cause they have the best package deals and you can put it on flex pay and pay it out monthly instead of a huge investment all at once. That is what we did and we got 4 cartridges, both sets of the markers, 12 x 12 pad, the spatula, it was a nice price for everything we got. The cuttlebug is by the same makers only it is non electric and embosses as well. I wouldn't do without either my cricut or my cuttlebug. I love them both so much.
