Do you sometimes think you don't like the people you work with?

For me , I think my work is compelely a technic. I don't hate or like the work. I just want to finish my job without mistakes. But what make me unhappy is not the work but the people who work with. There are so many man-made factors to influence the work and influence my mood. I just endure all the things because I need the money. Do you think sometimes there are so many man-made factors which block the matter going on?

There are so many different types of people in this world, good and bad people are just everywhere. I think it's pretty common that we will meet the people whom we may feel uncomfortable to work with. I do have the similar situation as yours. I can understand that feeling, i'll get fed up with those people who're irresponsible and do not want to give their cooperations. Luckily in my company, those kind of people are of minority only, or maybe is just that i haven't get to meet the others, haha. Most of them are nice and always willing to help. By the way, i can say that the most important factor in work, for me, is the working environment and also the people you're working with. How can one continue to work happily and stay working in a company for the rest of his working life if the environment is not suitable or he's not comfortable working with the people around. Lastly, wish you all the best in yuor work ya! :) I believe you can endure and handle it. It just needs time, perhaps.

Oh dear. I was once in a similar situation. In my last job, I got to a point wherein I almost didn't like some of the people I work with. It's sad that these guys hold Executive Positions in the company, but they're so fickle-minded. They change their minds every fifteen minutes. They make impossible demands. At first, I was really doing my best to meet all their demands, but it got to a point that I got seriously ill and had to undergo surgery. When I got back to work after my op, I realized that working for this company with these people is not worth it and if I am just going to be sick because of work then that is not the place where I should be. Of course, when you're at work, you have to know how to treat these kinds of people without getting your work affected. It's a tough thing to do. I wish you all the best. Goodluck with your endeavors Yoyozhou.

I'm not really sure what you mean by "man-made factors" but I know that I've worked with MANY people that I don't like - I can't deny that much. I just grit my teeth & bare it usually. I guess it's a good learning experience - learning how to work alongside people you don't like (and who also don't like you).
