How many times have you seen Aerosmith live?

I have personally seen Aerosmith in person three times. They were unbelievable every single time! I live in Tennessee, and saw them perform at the former Starwood Outdoor Ampitheater each time. It was a tremendous experience, and I am so glad I went- Steven Tyler is just amazing and so powerful as a live performer. How about you? Have you seen them, and if so, where? Would you go again? I can tell you emphatically that I would go see them anytime, anywhere.

I have seen this GREAT band twice, once at a charity event in Las Vegas in a tent next to the then just built (but not yet open) Hard Rock Hotel and another time at the Long Beach arena. The Vegas show was a bit of a disaster, not because of them, but because there was not enough power going to tent and when Aerosmith would break into a song at full volume it would overdrive the circuits and cut the power. They started and had forced stops to their songs about 10 times before someone fixed it. I felt bad for the bad and especially for Steven Tyler who started to show his frustration after about the 3rd time this happened. But they all hung in there and eventually gave a great show like the pros that they are! I think Aerosmith is coming to the LA area this summer with ZZ Top as an opening act (how great is that?), so if I'm going to make that my one "must see" show this summer I think!

Thanks so much for the "best response" tag - first time I ever got one of those. I am still new here at the site with only 34 responses, so it's nice to get the acknowledgment for a response. I'm sure you realized what I meant, but had a little TYPO in my comment where I meant to say, "I felt bad for the BAND...". I also wanted to mention that I have also met the band and they couldn't have been nicer in person. I'm happy they worked through their previous substance abuse problems of 70's/80's, remained together and have given the world 30+ years of great music now. Hope they give us another 30! :-)

I have seen Aerosmith twice, both times were back in the 80's at the Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville Alabama. They know how to put on a great show. I would say my favorite albums were "Get Your Wings" "Toys In The Attic" and "Rocks". I can't say how different they sound in concert now as opposed to when I seen them play, but I can tell you this, they were sounding real good back then.
