Just been on the daily digest, to see one of the 'top' discussions was from a MyLotter saying they were making near on 60 bucks a week from this ptc site.
Well for a start, how come MyLot FAQs can 'diss' these kinds of posts, and then fill their daily digest with them?!
Anyhoo, I clicked on the link. The person who typed this has 5 - yes, 5 - posts to his name. And all of them are on the same subject: Hey I found this site, been making big bux, PM me and I'll send you a referral ...
Five posts. 60 bucks? Yeah, go figure.
I'm nearing 500 posts, and yet I wouldn't expect to see, for example, a thread of mine saying "Hey, I earned great kudos clearing my elderly neighbour's garden FOC last night" on the digest - then again, I write here for the pleasure of it, not to scam for referrals.
If MyLot can't sort things like this out, then they should take down their damn FAQs and make this an open all-comers blog. Do they actually ever read the posts from their newbies, or do they ust pick on the regulars?
Play fair, MyLot! Grrrr ....

Have you reported the post? I think they probably dont hand pick those top discussions. There is probably a computer algorithm that does it based on number of responses and how recent they are.
I agree that it is a bit ridiculous. I am going to go look for it now so that I can report it. Unfortunately, that is the only way to get rid of those things. It is a never ending battle.

Good idea - I never thought about algorithms. Then again, MyLot seem quick enough to remove earnings for, eg someone telling people how excited they were at earning a GENUINE 50 dollars!
It's pretty easy to spot on the DD - too right I'm reporting it!

The discussions that reach the Digest are selected from the 'hot' discussions each day. The highest one in each interest reaches the Digest. If it had not been deleted by myLot staff prior to the Digest being issued, sadly it will be there.
On the Digest I receive there was another with a violation. The 'birthday' one.

Hmmm - seems MyLot has 'seen the light' - the discussion has been taken down. Damn right too.

My feelings exactly! I mean, 5 posts - all on the same topic? All MyLot has to do to stop this abuse of the system, is to make it a rule that those with a minimum number of posts/new members less than 3 months old etc do not get into the daily digest or 'top posts' spots.
