I do not take a daily morning walk though I would like to. Because of lack of time I am unable to do so. A few years back I was walking some 2 kilometres a day in the morning. Now I totally stopped. I want to revive it. Do you take a morning stroll?

I was just thinking I should try going for a walk today. I have tried to make it a habit in the past, but in the winter it is cold and summer can be too hot and busy. But it is not raining today and the sun is trying to come out. So I think I'll head out for a short walk.

Hi cudamani,
Yes i take daily morining walks. I got a dog and i walk her daily at least 2 to 3 kms and she needs to go out for her morning physical needs. I love fresh air on my face and i usually go at 5.30 am in the morning and then let her play some time and usually come back to my apartment by 6. 30 am. It is very necessary for me to walk in morning and if i miss it somehow my body feels not fresh.

My fiance and I both need to and we have walked before but we don't do it as often as we might should. I think it's great and a health benefit as well. I hope you can start to walk again on a morning basis, and have fun doing so as well. Good Luck to you.

Whoa, I'm pretty much like you too! I want to take a morning stroll but I can't, even if I want too. Why? Because I always wake up pretty late! Talk about waking up 11 am.. haha. Morning strolls are pretty good for our body.

Hi!
Id love to have a morning stroll as well, I do it whenever its possible. Coz i work at night, my shift usually ends at 6 am, so after work if i'm not that tired yet, i will just walk from the office to my home. Thats almost 30 mins walk so thats a good exercice for me...
Godbless!

Resaerch has indicates that it takes continuous doing of a thing for 21 days for that thing to be imbibed as a habit, so I guess if you walk in the mornings for 21 days in a stretch you would be able to continue doing that. Having said that, I too like to go on a walk in the mornings, but so far havent been able to do that for 21 straight days, so it is not yet a habit for me... I'm trying and one of these days I'm sure it will become a habit.

Well, cudamani, I take a few minutes walks every day I go to work. I work fulltime so it is almost every day....but if you mean longer walks just to move or exersice...no I do not. I wish I would though, since I know it is god for your body and soul. Taking a walk a day would make your healtier...and your life will probably last a bit longer than if you did not...

i used to, but things have gotten so busy i don't have the time to anymore. it's a really good way to jumpstart your day though. it sounds like exercise would do the opposite, but i find it actually gives me MORE energy for the rest of the day lol. i've heard many others say the same thing. if you've got the time, you should start it back up again!

I do. Mind you it is only because I have a dog and feel that I really must go and take him for a walk. I really enjoy it and even if busy I find that I have to make time to take him. Mind you my dog is now 17 years old so it is more of a stroll than a walk.

Actually i would like to have daily morning walk, if i can. However, due to the lack of time, i just don't think i can do it. It really needs some kind of discipline, to wake up early in the morning. I once tried to have morning walk and jog every weekend. However, i was too tired to wake up early in the morning and maybe i'm just lack of the commitment and i stopped. Can other regular exercises replace the morning walk? I hope it can, haha. I have regular sports and exercises every week now.

I try to take a nightly walk right after dinner. my husband usually walks with me so its a nice time to get out, get some fresh air and spend some quality time. the morning would just be to busy for us although I'm sure it would be nice!
