What is your favorite Mariah Carey song and why?

I just would like to know what song by Mariah is a favorite because I like Vanishing myself. I think that song clearly defined her vocal talent.

well for me I like Hero,actually I'm not a fan of Mariah and not to familiar with her songs,I just like that song,it can inspire any person go for it,whatever he/her goals in life are.

I like hero too,it can inspire anybody as you mention such great Lyrics.She's a true Diva and im one of her fan.

My favorite is Hero, although I am also particularly partial to Butterfly and There's Got to Be A Way. I guess I prefer more of her older stuff looking at what I just wrote, but I do enjoy her newer stuff as well. She's an amazing singer, and songwriter.

Her oldest song like "Dream lover", "One Sweet day", and her recent one "bye, bye, bye" can be my favorite from Mariah carey.

yeah your so true bout her vocal range back then especially during the beginning of her singing career. Vanishing iz a good song the lyrics as well since she iz a good song writer too. As for me it all depends becoz i love all her song. The lyrics as well iz amazing. I will go for hero and byebye from her new album E=mc2 coz sdat meant a lot to me...:P
