well pour a cold water on a burn and apply a toothpaste (note: not a toothgel or gel type, but white toothpaste). If it's a minor burn, it could work. But on a 2nd or 3rd degree burn, consult a physician or a dermatologist. But for first aid, it might work. I've done that to myself when I got burned on my skin by a hot cooking oil while i'm frying my lunch..

well i know for MINOR burns its good to put pickle juice on them because it takes the sting out.. but if its a really bad burn she needs to go to the doc.. good luck!
