I get this virus when i use my norton 360 to scan my pc. Im just thinking if this virus is related to a program that you authorized to install on your system. Last few days, i manage to install a program that plays a role of getting data to my pc and analyst it to there server. Im thinking of one thing, an authorize hack tool i just installed on my pc. They said they will not get any personal information on my pc and only data that required to analyst to their system will be transfer. Can anyone tell me if you also get this virus after installing an authorized program that let them collect a data info in your pc.

An "heuristic virus" may or may not be a virus but is a program that looks like and/or behaves like a virus would on your computer. You can get a virus when you install a program that is infected but appears to be legitimate, and therefore you authorize it. Try an online scanner such as http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and see if it detects anything. If you want to scan a specific file, you can go here to do that: http://www.kapersky.com/scanforvirus/ If nothing shows up, it probably means that you are safe against known viruses but does not mean that your computer is completely free of malware.

FYI, this past weeks i manage to install a software called gomezpeer and hotwire installer. Both of them do the same thing, collect information on my pc. Im guessing now who is the perfectrator... Sounds interesting.
