Religion promises us a place where we have eternal bliss. Nothing ever goes wrong in Heaven. Try eating your favorite food at every meal. How long before that Heavenly food isn't so Heavenly. I guess in Heaven we will all be couch potatoes doing nothing except praising God. Is this really something you could do forever???? Don't we all need a challenge, an obstacle to overcome??? Isn't that how we decide that we really did something?? Perhaps, the idea of Heaven sounds great for those who live a troubled life, but if we really had Heaven and no problems, how long would it take to get bored??? Of course, a little Heaven always does a soul good. What do you think??

Very nice question I used to think the same before but not now.
First of there surely is Heaven and Hell because the Quran tells us (the Quran is the only book which no one can find a mistake in and which is full of scientific facts like the Big Bang theory etc.... But that's another discussion).
Heaven is a place created by the creator who created you and this world and all the challenges etc you have here.
He put into your mortal physical body an immortal soul. You body remains only in this world your soul goes to Heaven or Hell.
So it depends of how you feel in heaven, when you are free from every impurity, that what actually you want. Like your wants even change in this world as you grow from a child to old age.
On this is certain that you can't satisfy the soul which is eternal with things that are mortal (like money) but by immortal things like knowledge and spiritual connection.
So maybe we will have challenges but of a different kind which we like then (like exploring the secrets of the universe !).
Besides all that talk if you don't get what I meant then you could always wish you were back on Earth as a normal human being to live life after life or may be a vampire or superman ! It's up to you because in Heaven every wish is granted !

You speak as though God is a human of great powers where as actually he is God and not human. If God wanted he could make us live in hell without regrets or he could have made all of us perfect and pious worshipers but then what are the Angels for ? God creates each creation with there own task.
He created us as a creation with knowledge and ability to acquire more knowledge, he created us as a creation who could feel emotions, pain, pleasure etc.
He created as a creation who had to give a test and anyone who passes the test would be rewarded and any one who fails would be punished.
One thing is certain that God does absolute justice and every human would be just fully given his reward or punishment and at that time no human would think that they have got it wrongly.
So when God creates you gives you ability to think, feel pain, pleasure etc for eternity then why can't he reward or punish you for eternity ?
Why can't we pass this easy test and spend eternity in heaven ?
As regards God solving the 'problem' then he can solve the problem but then what's the use of the test ? Why even bother sending us to earth why not directly to heaven and why not directly to hell when he already knows what we will do in life? Because that won't be justice and God is the most Just.
And Monsters and fairies and Satan, Angels, humans etc are all creations of God each with their own life and frame of mind and fate.

It's clear you do not Understand. You say God could punish someone to Hell for eternity with no regrets? Hmmmm??? Doesn't that sound like man??? Man wants to rule, be worshiped and adored, to punish, Everybody wants to rule the world. You underestimate God. God is beyond all the petty concerns as greed, jealousy, control, power. God is unconditional love with the intelligence to show you just what you are doing without the fiery pit of hell with no regrets. GOD is not a ruler. GOD IS A TEACHER!!!!!!! What are we really doing on Earth?? Life is the education of God's children. Worry not because no child is left behind. They just get more lessons. There is but one universal law in place and it doesn't matter whether anyone believes or not. The genius of it all is that it teaches. Everything you do in life will come back to you in time. This will teach unconditional love once you realize what you do give and what that means to others.

If every wish in Heaven is granted, what will happen when I wish I were God??? If the Quran believes God will send people to Hell for eternity then there is a mistake clear as day. Why would a Being capable of creating the universe send People to Hell? Wouldn't He just fix the problem?? Could you send your children to Hell no matter what they did???? If God sent people to Hell that would make Him a Monster. God has more in store for us all besides eternal bliss. God is more than us having a good time even in the purest way. God is so much more than one can find in any one book. Can one ever find the entire truth limiting themselves entirely to the thoughts of others???

You know the old saying;
"Go to Heaven for the climate but go to Hell for the company."

Yes, that is a good asnswer. Though I know that a certain amout of Heaven is needed to make the system work right, the only Hell that could possibly exist are the consequences of one's actions. Some call hard lessons Hell. The eternal fiery pit is a creation of religion to scare those who do not believe into believing.

Heaven is simply the presence of G'd. No one knows what that is going to be. Man can only guess an even our best guess is still no good because no one has come back to tell us.
The christian testament has all kinds of stuff in it that is just way off base. There are no thrones in the sky or kingdoms. G'd is not up in the sky. He is not a being that we can actually see. We just give Him human attributes because we are human and cannot fathom any other way of doing it. Just Wait and see. Time will tell.

So God is a spiritual being. Since we are made in His image, we are spiritual beings in our true natures. We are merely trapped in these physical shells for our lessons in life. Are you sure no one has come back? Can't you see the evidence that we have all been to Heavem?? That's why all of God's spoiled children really want nothing else. Think about that!!

People in this imerfect world, encumbered by a physical form, truly don't know what true happiness is. For example, as a soul inside a human body, we have physical cravings. I would suspect that once we lose this physical form, we will crave spiritual satisfaction, rather than physical needs. God alone knows what will make us happy.
And I'm sure heaven is complete and total joy for the spirit

Very Good answer but could we all stand complete and total joy for the spirit for eternity? That's a mighty long time. Also, what about our education? Don't some lessons take adversity to learn? How is this possible with no problems of heaven?? As for me, I want to learn all the secrets of the universe.

World without adverity would truly be wonderful. Thst is heaven. This does not make us couch potato. Couch potato means a person seated somewhere reading a book or watching TV with no physical activity.
In heaven, you can go for long walks. You can run and jog. You can climb trees and mountains. You can jump . You can also travel to unknown places where there will be te sense of suspense. Heaven is vast.
I would like to eat my favourite food every day without being bored. Don't you drink water wveryday? Don't you breathe air everyday? Do you feel bored with it? Si why would you feel bored with a life without challenges and obstacles?

@bird123 your first para is your blind assumption because it is the desire to learn alone and not adversity. Adversity can only force us to learn and any forced learning will be of no use. A life without adversity has nothing to do with Having it all made because there is none to spoonfeed you. That question does not even arise. In a world without adverity, a happy, painless lif will only be the natural cource of things like a flow of water.
In heaven, there is no need to grow, learn or accomplish anything. In heaven, you just ENJOY
If God's children are spoilt, then God is the most spoilt because he already has it all made with no physical life ever, no adversity ever, no lesson learnt ever
Animals, birds, plants, trees don't go to school, but they live their lives. Man also did not for many many centuries.
No big good has arisen out of compulsory school. More so, it is a farce. It is laughable.

Life is about learning and growing regardless if you go to a school building. Animals, people and such are in school. That's what this physical world is all about. That's why it exists in the first place. No one goes through life and learns nothing.
Eternity has Purpose. Is the purpose really just to ENJOY??
Eat your favorite food every day. At what point do you no longer enjoy? Eternity is an awful long time. What will you do? What is your purpose? What will you accomplish? What will you do? Do you really want it all taken away?

When times are good, one sits back and enjoys the ride. When adversity hits, one must think, study, plan, analyze and learn and discover so much along the journey to resolution. Adversity breeds invention. Having it made doesn't.
If you had it made, what would you really learn? How would you ever grow and become accomplished?
God's children are spoiled because between physical lives we have all experienced having it made.
Having it made is Great, however acquiring Wisdom requires a different path.
So often it's the adversity that points the way to our education.
No one wants to go to school, however most are happy they went after it's done.
