Do you think that it is necessary to step on some people to get on top ((like in a job for example))? This seems to be a recurring theme in books and movies and even politics. People must bash other people and leave them in the dust in order to "succeed". What do you think about this?

Of course, its not good to step on someone just to be able to get the dreams/goals or positions you want. For me, if I want to be in a higher position or to be well known by others I'll do my very best without hurting others. I want to feel the satisfaction and success that I know I did it in a good way. Using other people isn't good and it will carry it in your conscience whenever you will go and in every success you've made you can't be proud of it because you know that there is someone behind of it. And other thing, I believe in karma. Once you've do something wrong it will always come back to you later with an interest. So, it is really better if you reach your goal with your own deeds and sweat.

Yep, again, there's always another way. The Karma part is interesting too. I'm not too sure what I think about Karma but it was a good addition and got me thinking. I do agree with you too though.

I always believe that it is better to succeed slowly but surely than succeeding because you step on others or you used others to be on top of your career. I hate people who have crab-mentalities and those who uses others for their personal gain. Maybe in one way or another we may need others help but we can seek help in such a way that we are not stepping on them. We can always succeed in a clean way and not leaving others in dust. Once we are on top we should always look back on where we came from and we should always remember and help as well those who made us on top.
