Goverment cheques

I have seen a scam that has been going around for a couple of years. They say that you won the Canadian lottery. You are supposed to cash the check and then send some of the money back. It is a scam. Im not sure if that is what you are talking about or not. If you are not a Canadian citizen, I would think that anything that says the Canadian goverment would send you a check is a scam! Even if you are a Canadian citizen, unless it is from the government website it is probably a scam. I would say dont bother trying! It can cause you a lot of headache!
