It seems that its has now become a trend to go green that is be more environmentally conscious, and I see that more and more people are doing things to help the planet, and I think its great in fact I wish I could do a bit more to help the planet too, but unfortunately I dont drive and there really isent any recycling centers close to where I live, also I dont have the money to buy some of those energy saving products, but I do a little bit to help, like cut off lights at certain times of the day or when I'm not using the light and dont throw liter on the growned, and I sometimes shop at thrift clothing stores or used clothing stores but honestly thats pretty much all I can do, I think that every little bit counts. Tell me are you a green person and what kinds of things do you do to help the earth and do you find it a bit difficult to help the environment???

you can start with paying attention when disposing house garbage or do what you have done like turning off lights when not using or donating that's all I do now too, because that's all I can afford for now We also do some gardening and try to use less paper we don't buy energy saving products but we got some for free here\ try to browse online, there maybe places that give you free energy saving products they won't give away a lot for free, but at least you can get a little bit of this and that We got them for free at our door step like 2 years ago I forgot what company the package was gone going green is not always expensive, in fact in some ways it saves money if you grow your own vegetables you save on grocery if you turn off lights and water tap when not using, you save on house bills if you use energy saving products, you save on energy bill if you throw your garbage wisely, you help avoid contamination and other damage that will cost us more to fix if you buy used or recycled stuffs, you save money too because they are cheaper than new ones I don't find it difficult to save the environment because it saves me money too

I understand not having the money to go out and buy all new "green" stuff. I don't have the money either. But I try and do things to help. I have about six different trash cans...one for paper, one for aluminum, one for steel cans (soup cans), one for plastic bags, one for green plastic bottles, one for clear plastic bottles, and one for cardboard. I guess that would be seven, wouldn't it? LOL. Anyway, I recycle every possible thing that I can. I turn the lights off, even when I am in the room. Right now, I am typing in the dark. I put a milk jug filled with water in the holding tank of my toilet....it uses a gallon less water to flush that way. I get all of my bills and bank statement online. I pay all of my bills online. I have stopped writing checks at the store. Leftover food at home or when we go out to a restaurant are given to my dogs instead of thrown away. It doesn't matter what you do, because like you said....every little bit helps.
