Wow, are all the little girls voting for Kris Allen or what is it?

I cannot believe that he has acutally made it to the top 2! I'm absolutely shocked! When he was first at the top maybe 7, I kept telling my husband, "He'll be booted off next" and it was never him! As the weeks got closer to today I kept saying "He's next for sure!" He's not even close to being a singer who will stand out as good as Adam Lambert would if he won. I'm trying to figure out why so many people like him. Maybe he's gotta lot of young fans who are just in love with him for what reasons I can't figure out. Can those of you out there explain to me why you've voted for him and why you think he should win? I've read that alot of people would rather vote for him than Adam because they say Adam is a screamer. Yeah, he might be a litte loud in some of those notes but he sure kicks butt and can sing any note and sing any song way better than Kris can. I'm rooting for Adam all the way!

I'm rather surprised Kris has made it this far as well. Danny just seemed to have more personality. Then again, my favorites are always booted off.

lol I feel your pain! My favorites always get booted off as well! This week, while I think in a sense that Adam will win now because I think he shoud...
I'm at the same time thinking that there is no way that Adam will win... because now I like him best... so they have to boot him off.

I was sad to see Danny go. He has been my favorite since the beginning of the show. About 5 weeks ago Kris started to shine. I began liking him and was very happy to see him in the top 2. I knew Adam would make it. I am voting for Kris to win. I think that the judges and even the performers are giving Adam too much publicity which is making this competition bias.
Adam also had a ton of little girl fans if you noticed from his hometown visit. I think that Adam is getting the gay votes too. I don't like the screaming that Adam does when he sing either, but when he does a song without the screaming he is amazing.

I CAN'T stand his screaming! He totally ruined Aerosmith's CRYING! I hope if he is the next Idol, who ever his vocal coach is trys to quiet out the screaming, if not he won't make it at all!
I'm shocked that Danny was booted and Kris made it in! I HATED his rendition of Heartless........I like Kenya's version. lol
I guess the people who are at home, don't hear the same thing the judges hear.
I wish them both the best of luck next week according to Simon it will be a real Ding Dong! LOL
My fingers are crossed and my 2 votes go to Kris! We have 2 cells.

I am not sure of what is happening with Idol as I thought that this season was a given on who would be in the finale. My bet is on Adam to win it. He is far more talented than Kris and would sell more albums. I think that he has shown week after week that there is nothing that he can't sing. I only remember one performance that I didn't like and that was country week.

Wow, I am surprised many of myLotters like Danny Gokey. In other forum, I found the majority dislike Gokey and I am one of them. Danny Gokey has nice voice, originally I was rooting for him, but from top 13 performance, what I remember from his performance was only when Rat Pack Week. Other than that he just singing, not doing much with the song, and tend to be boring. While Kris, although have the weakest voice among top 5, but really know how to change the arrangement so the song feels current and memorable. I will always remember Ain't No Sunshine, Falling Slowly, She Works for the Money, and of course Heartless. Although I prefer Allison to be on top 2 to face Adam, but Kris has niche that Danny does not have, originality, which in this season only challenged by Adam. I am rooting for Adam though, he is the most exciting Idol contestant in years!

I agree with you entirely! Nothing against Kris, as well, just never saw him as being that great singing wise. I was sure Kris would be gone last night, and that Danny and Adam would be the last 2. I, personally, in that case would have voted for Danny again as I have since the beginning... but I'm not actually sure if it would be Danny winning or Adam winning if they had been the last 2 up. Now that it's Adam and Kris, though... I'm definitely rooting for Adam!

I'm surprised Chris made it this far also! I like Chris, he seems like such a sweet guy but Adam has my vote. Every week I tune in to AI to see what he's going to do. I look forward to his performances. Go Adam!!!

like you,i'm also rooting for adam.i think he's a brilliant singer.i also thought that kris wouldn't make it to top 3,more so top 2.i would rather vote for danny to be adam's rival in the top 2 rather than him.i also like danny's soulful voice.anywayz,whatever happens,i just hope adam wins the competition.the show will be a total upset if he doesn't win.lol.

LoL! I'm not sure either. It's like these sitcom shows simple choose whoever they want to that can keep more viewers eyeballs viewing their shows so that they can have the most ratings. It was the same for me on America's Next Top Model. At the end of the show, They picked a contestant to go up against another contestant that they totally already knew that this person was not going to win. They've done it consistently as well. They keep the ones that are getting a lot of fans behind them on the show until the very end, and then they drop them like a bad habit. By then, the viewer of the show becomes a bit disappointed, but eventually continues to watch the show for the very reason of they had already created the habit subconsciously. It starts after you have done something 8 times in a row, you've created a bit of a habit, and whether you want to admit it or not, you've got a new routine.

I love all 3 =) But Adam has been my #1 vote since day one!!!!! But Kris is still amazing to me. I personaly liked Danny just a tad bit more then Kris. But Kris is HOT!!! Thats for sure. @happymommy3 (2012)

Wow, guess everyone has their own taste, lol. There's just something about him, his attitude that I don't like. He's not bad or anything like that, it's just like a smug attitude, is how I feel. I liked Danny way more than Kris, I don't feel that Kris is talented enough to win the competion. I don't feel he will go too far because there are way better singers than him, like Adam:) Everyone has their own likes though obviously so who knows will win! Thanks for responding.
