I know there must be a million discussions on this already, but I am still trying to figure out a lot about the site. If it weren't for e mail alerts, I'd have a heck of a time trying to even find the discussions I've responded to. First thing/s: exactly how to make money on the site.... I do know that you make money by starting or responding to topics, but I'm wondering what else you do that earns you money? Do you earn by rating posts? Do you earn if you upload photos, or are there ways to earn that I've missed? Also, if I'm not mistaken; the site pays through paypal- once you've reached $10- is that payment automatic- or do you have to request it? and if you have to request it, how do you go about doing so? Thanks in advance for any help! :-)

Thank you owl, the link did answer my questions. Geo: to try and answer some of your questions, from what I just read: You earn by starting quality discussions, or giving quality and relevant responses to other's discussions. I didn't see anything about a certain number of words though. You get paid through paypal once you reach $10, and from what I read; I get the impression that this is automatic. If I'm remembering what I read correctly, you get paid once you reach $10 on the 10th of any given month; then you recieve payment on the 15th of the following month. If I'm incorrect in any of this, then anyone feel free to correct me.
