I love salt and add a lot of salt in my dishes. I believe that salt has a major role in adding taste to a dish. I have friends who hate salt. I think there is a bid difference between a dish with salt and without salt. What do you say? Are you a salt person?

i am a salt person, i can't eat when the food seems to be cooked with less or no salt at all. my taste buds prefer salty dishes. good thing that most of the fast foods and restaurants that i had dined in, i don't need to ask for additional salt. hehe

Be careful with salt in fast food diners - it is usually refined sea salt, which is harmful to the body, as the chemical alteration of the product means that the body cannot absorb it. If you must have salt, which is necessary for the body to survive, use natural grey sea salt (take a small amount with you when you go out, and ask for your fries without salt - then add your own! Much better for you, and much better taste too!!!

Grey sea salt? Can you please be more clear? Salt in Inida is always white and it it is not white we say that it is not pure. We usually use idolised white salt.

'Salt eater drinks water.' Have you heard this? Anyway let me tell you that I love both salt and water. I prefer to add medium amount of salt. But my brother adds too much. My Dad doesn't like much salt. My mom likes salt but limits it due to health issues. Regards, A.J.

Yes, I have heard about the proverb. Lol. You like both salt and water. My sister and mother also loves salt. My sister used to eat salt as a candy when she was a kid. she used to eat a handful of salt after a meal. My mother had a hard time handling it.

Yes, she used to eat salt just like some people eat sugar after a meal. She used to steal salt and eat like a candy. My mom was very strict and educated her about the consequences. Now, she came out of it. She had this habit when she was in primary school.

ya salt is good. there's a balance though. Have to add just the right amount of salt to pull the flavor out, without making it salty. you know where the salt is stronger than the food. that's gross.

oh..my friend, are you still here in mylot? No news from you for a long time. Yes, it is good to add salt in a balanced amount, but I like to add in such a way that it dominates a little bit.

I'm definitely a salt person. I add it to most of my dishes when cooking. I know it's unhealthy, but I would rather enjoy my food that eat bland food without seasoning. I have found some alternatives that work great in some dishes, like this all purpose Greek seasoning you can by at Wal-mart. It adds so much great flavor to a wide range of dishes.

I am definitely non-salt person but I do put salt mostly in my dishes because it adds flavor in it though I'm not the type whose very fond of salt, in fact, I felt dizzy one time when I consume a lot of salt. I have a cousin whose very fond of salt in fact she eats it the rock salt and honestly I warned her.

I like my food to have a lot of flavor, but I tend to rely more on herbs and spices than on salt. I wouldn't go completely without salt, but I think that a little bit goes a long way. I also think that the amount of salt that's already cooked into food is usually enough. I rarely add salt to the food on my dinner plate. I am aware that excess sodium can cause problems with blood pressure, so I try to be careful.

SALT!!! I love salt. Table salt, fresh ground salt, seasoning salt, and all sorts. It is esp bad when women are pregnant because they crave it so many times. But be careful. Must use it in moderation. They have artificial salt that to me tastes the same.

Balanced salt is my choice. We can't eat food with less salt or more salt.Either thing will spoil the taste of the dish. So,the right amount of salt for a particular dish,I recommend.Drink more water,if you eat more salty foods. That is the way to help our blood circulation.Because, more salt makes the blood thicker, thereby restricting its speed of circulation.Cheers!

I love salt, too..But, i prefer to add moderate of salt to my dishes. I can't eat if the dish contains too much salt. Besides that, moderate of salt is good for health.

I am not a salt person at all. Though there are times my body craves it. I only eat when necessary. I'm more the pepper person the hotter it is the better. Plus salt is not good for you in high quantity.

Salt is good for ones health. But too much is not good.Things always has two sides. Too much salt in the dish makes it salty ,which is not good for your health.
