Finance or Marketing???

I am doing Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and am part time for about an year as an accounts assistant. I feel marketing is a great career and now is the time I have to selct for my speciality in Business Administration. My frends suggest that go to Finance as I have a years experience in accounts and Finance is a great field. But my dad says that I should try to be in Sales devision and not Service. And Marketing is a sales side. I love Marketing. Hence, I am confused were to go? Can mylotters hel me out?

Hey,
I did BMS which is Bachelors in management studies and i think there is another option which is CRM. Customer relation management is a very good option and if you want to start your own business then u r going to need those skills.
Marketing is a good option so is finance. But look at what u r scoring well. A lot of people cant stand accounts and mathematics etc for a longer period.
Marketing needs good communication skills, u got to look presesntable and a lot of in depth knowledge of the product u r marketing.
SO analyze yrself in what u r good at and consult with yr well wishers. Then take a decision. Good luck!

well, its depends on you. you should choose the field that you like. for me, i like finance side, as for an accountant, only need to work in a office rather than outside work. marketing is more like servicing people, and need to communicate well with the people, so, if u are friendly enough i encourage you to choose marketing field instead. hope this can help you.
