this question usually goes out to those who live in the third world countries like mine and we have to have to go abroad to earn much more than what our jobs here can offer in our country. so are you willing to do that to earn money?

Yes, I would definitely work outside my country if it is the only way to provide better future for my family. I would sacrifice for my family.

That was my option before, but with the current recession worldwide, I think working abroad can't really give that security. Besides, I don't want to be apart with my love ones.

Yes I would. The experience is great and it teaches you to be even more independent. The resort I work for has an exchange contract with a resort in the Phillippines so when it's summer we send some people there to help them out in their busy season and when it's winter they send like 300-400 people over to help us out, because heaven knows we can use the help. Most of them are married and okay with being away from home because they usually work half the year here and half the year there. The advantage for them is that they earn more here. One of our guys has been here for three years and saved up over $100,000 US working two jobs as a server. Instead of going home he pays for his family to come here several times a year and stay at our resort, but he stays to continue making money so that eventually he can go home and retire or own his own business.

I have thought of this question many times. I want to go abroad to work as an English translator. The salary is relatively higher than in home. There are a lot of chinese company investing business abroad, especially in Middle East and Africn. A lot of opportunities, but now my english is not good enough and i lack experience. Therefore, I maybe put that into practice in some years.

it depends upon the country, company and the job offered and if all the things are good then i would definitely join and relocate myself. if someone asks me to go to abroad and do a job of a sweeper then i would not be interested in that but if the job profile is good and matches my qualification then certainly i would go and join

I don't think so.I want to go abroad for vacation and not for work.Earning a living doesn't have to be in foreign places.I think anyone can be successful if he/she just do his best!

Hm...for me, i will consider and probably will go abroad to work if i were given the opportunity, and if it's really a good offer. Working abroad will be a good experience indeed, although i'll leave my home, my country and friends here. However, i think if ever i work abroad, i won't stay there for long. After i've earn enough, i'll then back to my own country. Working abroad is just for personal experience and to earn more, whereas back to my own country to work is to contribute back to the country and society.

Well, i will, for sure. But that doesn't mean that i am planning to live my rest of my life there .After working for atleast 5 yrs,i would be coming back to home. There are 2 main advantages: 1 By then i would have gained enough money 2 the experience which counts alot There can be never a better place than home.
