I think I am the lucky ones as my job still looks secure for the short coming future. Though my stock holdings have greatly appreciated... I think that if you are strong financially and have a secure job, it may be a good time to spend your money now. The reason is that things are getting cheaper and more readily available now. So, a dollar spent now should probably give you more satisfaction than when the economy is rocketing.
