I'm about to retire. I'm looking for ideas about what to do. Volunteer work? Part time job? What do you think would be challenging? I have arthritis, so I'm not too athletic, but I do need to be reasonably active.

Check out your local public schools. They are always looking for volunteers to help out in the library. Also how about the local food pantry.
If you can afford to volunteer do this!
Also consider joining your local senior citizen group. They have many activities to you busy as well.
