I don't think anyone knows what Iraq's future will be right now so I wouldn't want money linked to the future success of the Iraqi economy and government, but I think the bigger problem is that so much of currency trading is tied up with the major currencies. It can be a challenge to trade even the currencies of much more stable countries than Iraq; it's like buying a stock in an OTC market. You might be able to buy it, but will you be able to sell it when you want to? The market may not be liquid enough to let you make profits even if you make them on paper.

The IRAQI DINAAR is a speculative investment. It could or could not be an immensely profitable investment. DO NOT invest money you can not afford to lose as the potential for either a very large profit or a very large loss is about equal IMHO. No one can say for sure what the situation is going to be in the middle east, especially Iraq. Events affecting the IRAQI DINAAR could go either way.
