More and more today the three things that I hear from my friends and co-workers who want to get married is that they want to have a beautiful ceremony on a beach that's romantic and affordable with family and a few close friends.
How easy do you think it would be planning a beach wedding for family and a small group of friends? Do you think people would understand if they weren't invited? Would you have a BIG party at home to accomodate a larger crowd and also as a way to have a more elegant wedding and keep costs down?

I got married in Hawaii on a vacation. I got married on the beach at the Hilton. We chose the Hilton because that is where I stay when we go there, ease of travel and I didn't want to have to travel to another beach. We got married at 5 pm and the beach wasn't that busy but there were people around but I didn't notice. They have the ceremonies at the end of the beach so it is less crowded. I really liked it and so did the few beach goers that stopped to watch our vows. My husband and I had a great time getting married on the beach. We have some great photos.

I'm glad you have photos to cherish.
You bring up a great point of consideration, that people walking the beach being able to watch your ceremony as you took your vows. Thanks.
