Am I psychic? Can I see the future? 6th sense?

Every now and then this "thing" happens where I know I've done or been something/somewhere before....but have never done this particular thing...ever.
Here are a some examples:
1. In high school I heard myself say "hold on to the railing before you fall down the stairs". I didn't. I almost fell down the stairs but grabbed the railing.
2. In grade 10 gym class. The class is seated in front of the teacher. I'm standing. I notice the lights flicker in the gym and I have this feeling like I've been here before. In that very moment. I'm looking around at everyone to see if they notice anything but they don't. I thought that was weird because that was my first time in that class.
3. One beautiful Saturday morning I am in my car waiting to make a left turn at a red light. The music is off. I rest my head back on the head rest. There is another car to my right. I feel very calm and relaxed. The light turns green but I don't move. I couldn't move anything. But I didn't care cause I was so relaxed. In my head I'm like "hello!!! the light is green! GO!" Out of the corner of my I see the car to my right start to move. Then in that moment a car runs the red light. After the almost accident with the other car and the red light runner was I able to move.
4. Certain moments with my boyfriend (now ex) I felt I've done before but never did.
5. Walking around in my workplace I noticed one time as I turned the corner that I've done this before. Same outfit, location, hairstyle, position etc. The only reason this couldn't be the case is because we just moved to a different side of the office. This also happened after I broke up with my ex so it definitely didn't happen before.
I don't know what to make of these events. There are so many other times when things like this happen. The only explanation I can come up with (for #3) is that
my guardian angel was protecting me.
What do you think? Is this a 6th sense? Is it possible to control, summon these events?

Well actually simoneetah, I've had the same experience as you as in deja vu experiences, and this happens to me a lot too. And when I think hard enough I remeber it's from a dream I had. I can't give you an exact explanation of what exactly is going on but i believe that sometimes when we sleep our astral energy or something like it travels. Then when we get to that part of our life somehow we remember bits and pieces. At least that's my take on that subject. Hope that helps.

I like the idea of our astral energy traveling. But none of these examples were dreams (not that I could remember anyway).

You know what. After posting on other comments I really like the idea of the traveling astral energy. It kinda makes sense that during that specific travel, fragments of it would come back to my memory...even if they are random and insignificant. It's like I'm peeking into my future to make sure things will be going as they should but I forgot to close the door and some of that information is saved to memory.

it seems like kind of 6th sense?
someone were gifted with some abilities.
Once I had 6th sense about something.
When I escaped from school,on the way,my 6th sense told me"Don't go that way".
But I didn't follow it,and...then,I met my mom on the road.

lol... that's funny. I remember when i was in elementary school I started to wear red lipstick. When I got home my dad nearly killed me. The next day I was like "I'm going to do what I want" and wore it again. When we were lining up to go back inside I saw him walking towards the line. I wiped it off the best I could but my lips were a bit stained. He asked me what was on my mouth and I said I was eating a red lollipop. He believed me and left. I wish I had my 6th sense then.

The mind is very powerful. As I read your post, I think this is related to dejavu and some aspects about premonitions. I cannot make a conclusion to qualify the kind of psychic ability that you have but it appears that synchronicity of events happen because you chose to think that way or your mind chose to perceive the things that you want subconsciously. Anyhow, I cannot say about the "guardian angel thing" since you have affirmed about the existence of a supernatural entity. From my studies, it is possible to work on your mind on the things that you want to happen. The visions can appear in both asleep or waking states and the events just happen. Dejavus can be explained by having similar memories related to your past, your past life, dreams...

Hi Manunulat,
I don't choose to think about or subconsciously want these odd episodes of dejavu. The dejavus that I experience most of the time are really insignificant eg. walking down a hall, driving to the store, doing my hair etc. If the past life theory happens to be the case, I wonder what was going on in my past life (I don't necessairly believe in that by the way). I would definatly like to learn more about why we experience dejavu.

Well, i think that each and every one of us are gifted with some unique qualities. Things that you have mentioned in here is also an example of such a thing. We are all born with a sixth sense, the only question is how much the sense is developed amongst us.
Let us look into it this way, we all have five basic senses, some one has better eye sight than others, some one has an acute sense of hearing and so on and so forth. Likewise we can say about our sixth sense. maybe you are gifted a bit extra than the others.

I do believe this can be happen to anyone, anywhere, nowadays but the truth is all human has their own inner strength which can be developt for further power or mental propulsion

That is weird. Number 5 happens to me a lot. I will be doing something and I am like I have done this before and I was wearing this exact outfit and then someone will speak and say something and I am like and that person said that last time too. This happens very often to me and I thought it was pretty weird and have never really told anyone that I know of. So maybe I am not alone on this one. I have never shared it really because I did not know how to explain it.
YEA!!!! I am not weird. I have never been a weird person but I did think that was a little weird. But I am not weird.

Hi Susan,
I know what you mean when they seem so weird. I know quite a few people who experience dejavu as well. It's just the more I experience them the more i want to know about them and why we get them. People say that everyone has some form of phychic ability. Our brains are huge but we only use about 10% of it. If we used 50% could we move things with our mind? Teleport ourselves? see the future and past as if it was happening in the present? I wonder.

The Mind really is very powerful. And I do think that if you practice this gift you will see alot more if that is something you are interested in .I believe that everyone as this ablity . you should start a dream log first thing in the morning it will help you a little inresting . Ever since I was young girl I have always had the same things happen that seem as if deja vu. And to this day I notice that with the people that are close to me. I always know if something serious good or bad is going to happen. My mother trips out sometimes, I can tell her what she did that day or what color shes wearing and sometimes who she was visited by. I think that my daugher has the same gift now. She can tell you were something is if you ask her (that is the house) but the thing is shes only 4.

i think that some people have a 6th sense,and yeah you can control it but only when you know what it is. I can sometime predict who is going to cal me,like last week i just thought of a person i hadnt heard from in a while the next day they texted me. Also sometime a 6th sense can be on the blink but the more you use it the more you can make it controlled and then get less experiences of seeing things that dont happen. Its odd but i believe i have a 6th sense i have also had many times when thinks could have happened but something told me to do something else or take a different action. i can often predict when people will call my mobile and that does friek them out when i say hello and dont even ask their names and i dont have their numbers on my phone.
